Tricky "Treats": a Meh-rathon
Mr. Hale probably should’ve been clearer.
When the trick-or-treaters said they didn’t want hot sauce, he should’ve said, “It’s not so bad if you use a tiny bit.”
What he said instead was: “Go ahead and try some. It’s not too hot.”
Then he watched as the boys opened the bottles, tore off the dripper lids, and took big gulps, before collapsing in fits coughing.
Yep, he’d be getting a phone call or two about this, that was for sure.
