@Kyeh thought so too. Asheville NC most areas (if not flooded) got power 2 nights ago. People in remote areas not so lucky.
But no water. Main feed to city distribution might be reconnected tomorrow or Friday. 36” big water line.
City warns different neighborhoods might take more time.
@Kyeh Sorry didn’t get to answer about Hendersonville. Just a few miles South of AVL airport. I would assume damage is similar to Asheville. If in low areas by water might have mud/damage. If in hills (a lot of it is above river grade), mostly OK except for trees down. WLOS-13 (wlos.com) is a good source for news. They came back online even when they had limited power and communication.
Can they strap Elmo to it first tho?
Catching the booster on the launch tower is a major goal for test flight 5.
Artist’s conception. Should be quite a show!
Aww. I thought this was a post from someone recovering from Hurricane Helene who’d finally gotten their electricity back.

@pmarin Just curious - have you heard anything about Hendersonville?

@pmarin Thanks - I was just wondering, I used to know someone who lived there. He died a while back but at least he didn’t have to go through this!
@Kyeh @pmarin Lucky him?
