Cool Story, Bro
Maybe you hear about the Wet Brush and you think, what’s the big deal? Maybe you think, so what if using a regular brush is hell on hair? Maybe you think it doesn’t matter that the Wet Brush’s soft and flexible bristles cause none of the damage that regular brushes do, because maybe you never brush your hair at all. And maybe, just maybe, you’re getting ready to post something in the comments to this effect, thus proving just how little you care about some “innovative” brush.
Before you do, though, consider this: Not everything is for you, buddy.
And yes, maybe I’m talking to more than just a few Wet Brush disregarders. Maybe I’m talking to everyone who proclaims proudly that they don’t know which teams are playing in the big game, who drive around with their 0.0 stickers, who go out of their way to let you know they don’t care about some book, or movie, or singer. Maybe I’m talking to anyone who’s ever expressed an ignorance of or disinterest in something as if it makes them a better person.
Because it doesn’t. It’s okay if some people or things don’t suit you, but that doesn’t make you special. If you outright dislike something, if you think something is bullshit, that’s actually more interesting, because that’s at least a conclusion based on active thoughts and feelings. Apathy, though, is not interesting. If you build your personality on apathy towards things, then you’re basically a human vacuum. And not, like, something cool like a Shark Vacuum. No, you’re the space kind of vacuum. You’re nothing but empty, bruh.
And yes: I understand the irony of this being posted on a website called Meh.
Point is, there are people out there that really care about these things, people for whom these Wet Brushes were a life-altering hair-saving revelation. Just check Amazon. There are more than 6,500 reviews and over 100 answered questions. So if you’re not interested, that’s cool. But know a lot of people might be.
And to those people, we say: pretty good deal here, eh?
