Sure, Why Not

Reusable water balloons. Sounds like something the dorky downtrodden “inventor” dad from an 80s/90s movie would pitch before buying his kids a strange creature to keep as a pet or shrinking his entire family to be the size of ants.

But they’re apparently a totally real thing!

Here’s what they look like in action:

So, the question you likely have at this point is: why? Or, more accurately, it’s: [deep sigh accompanied by a prolonged, exhausted blink]: Okay, but seriously, why?

And we think this is a totally valid question… IF you were to pay the price that they sell these things for on Amazon. (Which, insanely enough, comes out to more than a dollar per balloon.)

But for our price, which is considerably lower, we think the question you should actually be asking is: why not?

Maybe you and your kids will use them for their intended purpose exactly once. But even if that’s the case, there’s almost definitely going to be another time in your life when you think: Man, I wish I had a little orb thing that could hold some liquid inside. Maybe for something practical. Or maybe for a prank. Doesn’t matter.

Point is, even if you don’t water-balloon-fight with these, you probably still might use them. For… something.

And for just 15 bucks, it’s a chance worth taking, right?

(But seriously, if you have any ideas for what you could do with these things, please post them in the comments.)
