Here We Go A-GaN
We find ourselves in a bit of a predicament.
What we have here are some GaN 65-watt USB-C adapters. It’s not the newest tech, by any means, but still, very good. Not to mention, thanks to GaN, they’re pretty compact for 65-watt adapters. Plus, you can fold the prongs down, so you don’t have to worry about them bending in your bag. Or, hell, you could put one in your pocket.
Also, they charge stuff. FAST.
Seriously, if you mostly use whatever basic USB-A block came with your iPhone from a few generations ago (you know, back when they included such a thing), you’ll be shocked at how quickly one of these will juice up your devices. Like, if your phone is in the red, and you’re preparing to leave the house, you can plug in while you get ready. Even if it’s only charging for a few minutes, the battery icon might be nearly half-full by the time you’re out the door.
Thus, to summarize: it’s a super good product, that anyone could use, at any given time. So what’s the issue, then? What did we mean by the above-mentioned ‘predicament’?
It’s simple. We’re the problem. Us. Meh dot com.
See, what we want to say is: “Buy these GaN 65-watt USB-C adapters and never look back! Forsake the technology of yesteryear and embrace the convenient, compact, and speedy charging you deserve! Live in the present! Forget about the past! It’s 2024! Charge like it!”
Only, you have to remember, we’re not exactly known for exclusively peddling in the most cutting-edge products. Why, just two years ago, we sold wired earbuds. And sure, it was something like two pairs for about two dollars, but still.
You see what we’re saying, right? We don’t want to be too persuasive. After all, were we to convince you that you need to abandon all vaguely outdated charging tech, what would we say in a few weeks, when said vaguely outdated charging tech graces our sales calendar?
Although, maybe there’s a simple solution: we sell you on these adapters today, and then, when their ancestors inevitably show up here, we’ll just have to offer them for cheap enough that nobody cares.
Yeah, okay, cool. That works, right?
Great. Glad we worked this out.
