Thanks I’m supposed to be driving into portland but I’m waiting on wine and I need something creeptastic for my studio so I decided to make a Joe instead of work on the things I should be working on!
not that Joe is creeptastic. Just his amazing art. Ans I’m just not fast enough and am over caffeinated so yeah…my words and sentence structure or the broken things today.

@RiotDemon I have a glowfprge but I don’t really recommend it. I’m currently saving for a different one. I won’t go into semantics but it’s not nearly as user friendly as they make it out to be and everything is WiFi and cloud based. They make it seem like a cricut in the marketing but it’s just not. If you’re good with design software and math it’s not bad but I would still recommend looking at something that isn’t solely WiFi. Other major issues which I’ll happily talk about privately but thats the long and short of it.
@padaltalula thanks. I’ve heard a lot of people want to steer away from the glow forge. I know I could probably get away with a k40 for most things… But I wonder if I’ll regret such a small laser quickly.
@RiotDemon I knew I didn’t want to start with a machine that cost me 30-60k to start. I’m letting the business build itself. I’ve definitely been researching the next things to come though. Going to save enough to build myself a proper 30x40 shop to house all my woodworking tools and my kiln and my laser and and and. sits just been such a killer with COVID. I didn’t have it in my business plan to be stay at home mom/teacher/cleaner/chef/small business start up…

@padaltalula The purpose of Meh increasingly seems to be to keep us from being otherwise productive.

Laser engraved/cut and painted?
What laser do you have? Do you recommend it?
