@elimanningface Without my phone I cannot navigate America. I don’t know how people traversed unfamiliar territory before phones. My phone died and I took a wrong turn and got lost. The first town I came to didn’t have maps at the gas station. It was 1:00 am and neither of the employees knew how to get to the interstate that turned out to be on the other side of town.
I must be in a alternate universe because I have chargers at home, in the car, and at work. I don’t stray far from these areas and if I did, I’d have a portable power bank with me.
I can’t say I’ve ever been down to the “last minute” of my phone and been aware of that fact. Or at least been aware of it. I’ve had my phone completely run out, but it was always in standby at that point and I usually didn’t notice that it was dead.
Can’t charge it. Ever? As in, it’s over for my phone? I’ll take a screenshot of my app layouts on different pages - which will then upload to my water vapor in the sky storage. after that? Play SMTH. See if I can get a high score.
I run into this scenario fairly often. What I do is, tap “No” on that battery conservation feature, leave the brightness up, and continue doing whatever thing was using all the power.
I say to myself, “I will plug my phone in momentarily,” which is a comforting thing to believe.
I’ve had my Moto Z Force phone for several months now, and the battery is breathtaking. All day long! it only ran out of juice last night for the first time, at 10:30 PM. I have a 10,000 mAh power bank and I’m not really sure where it is, don’t need it.
Probably refresh Twitter one last time
Nothing, it would be in my purse and I wouldn’t notice for a day or two.

No one would notice if my phone battery died. Sniff.
@sammydog01 aw, don’t say that! I’m sure someone would notice!
If I don’t CLOSE THE DEAL then no one is going to want to talk to me after I find a charger anyways.
Trying to hibernate and close all my apps to squeeze out more time. You’d be surprised how long I can make that last 5% stretch
Use its light to find the exit of the dungeon I’ve apparently found myself in…
google maps and try to memorize the directions home.

@JoetatoChip a suggestion, you should invest in a car phone charger or portable battery.
I see everyone has professional worry-era for spouses /parents.

…oh, sorry, wrong game.

Turn it off.
Plug it into the powerbank in my briefcase/purse.
Let it die if I am not near my home, workplace, or car.
Ask the genie for 10,000 mah wishes
Turn it off, turn in back on if I need it for some last thing when the situation arises.

@InnocuousFarmer Engine sputtering because it’s low on fuel? Floor it!
@InnocuousFarmer @narfcake Of course! That gets you to the gas station faster.

Perhaps use it to kill a troll or a balrog.

Swap out the battery with the spare I keep in my pocket. The reason I still haven’t upgraded from a Note 4.
