I wasn’t actually aware that it existed until now. Went and watched the trailer, and if I totally run out of movies on all of my streaming services once it’s available… I might watch it.
@Pony Well, you’re at least a trailer ahead of me. Today was the first I’ve heard of this alleged movie; I still haven’t bothered to look for a trailer or anything.
But having read your not-so-glowing review, I’ll remain content with knowing nothing else about it.
With a title like that, all I can think of is that earlier movie named Twister where they chase storms around like a reality show. That’s enough for me to pass on it: guilt by name association.
@sjk3 And it has a desperate lack of Sigourney Weaver. (She will never be too old for me to want to see her in a movie. Her mere presence means that Stupid Characters Are Going To Get Their Asses Kicked.)
I have Regal Unlimited, so I watch pretty much everything that my closest one gets. I’m seeing Twisters in IMAX this weekend since I’m almost certain Deadpool is gonna take up all the IMAX slots for the next month or so.
@jitc@werehatrack think my kids made me take them to some Star Wars train heist film several years ago… Can’t remember what it was called but it was pretty lame…
Depends on the weather.
@phendrick Great Answer!, it is the truth
i don’t watch movies. who’s got a 2 hour attention span in this day and age
@spacemart, not me
@kittykat9180 @spacemart I forgot; what was the question?
@pmarin Something about twist-ties?

I’m looking forward to:
Deadpool and Wolverine
But I’m pretty sure @narfcake is looking to see:
@lonocat I hope that the openings credits are as good as the first Deadpool !
@lonocat Yep, I will see Deadpool!
@lonocat
@narfcake Moar kitteh!
Yes, gonna buy popcorn and everything.
We had one yesterday!
@brainmist
@brainmist Movie, or dramatic weather?
I think I’ve pretty much had enough of the latter, and I’m really picky about the former.
So far I’ve seen Riverdance and P!nk and this Friday I’m seeing Aladdin the Musical.
@kittykat9180 Are you in London?
@Kyeh, I saw Riverdance and P!nk in Dublin I’m going to see Aladdin in Bristol.
@kittykat9180 Oh, cool! So your attention span is different for live theater, then …
@Kyeh, yes. I get bored at movies.
Live also as intermission so you can spend $35 on $4 worth of snacks.
If we get round to it. I’ll circle back. Need to get caught up with my wife, see if she got wind of it.
@hchavers OMGone of the Best thoughts, I agree.
@hchavers But you might just blow it off …
No Helen Hunt. No Bill Paxton. No Carey Elways. No need for me to see another “re-imagining” of a film from my past.
I think the pitch meeting for “Twisters” was similar to James Cameron’s for “Aliens”. But I don’t expect “Twisters” to be as good as “Aliens”.
@sjk3 And it has a desperate lack of Sigourney Weaver. (She will never be too old for me to want to see her in a movie. Her mere presence means that Stupid Characters Are Going To Get Their Asses Kicked.)
If I want to video about hot & cold air blowing, I will watch a political debate!

@DustyCartridge I have regal unlimited too, I see a ton of movies. Best thing since Moviepass.
I’ve got tickets for tonight!
6.5 out of 10 for me
I like Chubby Checker, I’m glad they made a movie about him finally.
I already saw Inside Out 2, so I’m good for the summer.
@jitc I haven’t been in a theater since the Barbie movie came through.
@jitc @werehatrack think my kids made me take them to some Star Wars train heist film several years ago… Can’t remember what it was called but it was pretty lame…
I think that’s the last one I saw.
