I hope those of you who live their had your kids make snow angels, took them sledding (plastic works well when you don’t have a sled, the side of a highway on ramp that funnels into the center of the circle and not the highway is what practically the entire child population of one city I have lived in that rarely had snow used), built snow men, snow forts, have snow ball fights… Build cool memories for your kids. Mine, at her first introduction to snow, put her face in the snow before I could stop her and said to me, “Mom you no tell me snow cold!!!”.
Live in MI we had our worst ice storm in 50 years on Wednesday. Just got our power back this morning, my brothers isn’t supposed to come back on till Monday. I’ve never seen hotels book up so fast.
@detailer@Kyeh it was once a beautiful coast live oak, but it succumbed to SOD (sudden oak death). The guy who does our tree work, instead of taking it down, was impressed with its form and wanted to sculpt it so he cleared it off to show the main branch structure. It’s on the side of the house visible from the bedroom - we love it!
