The CITY of NY has more people than all but 11 states (taken individually). The “NY tri-state area” (technically, the “New York-Newark-Jersey City, NY-NJ-PA Metropolitan Statistical Area”) has more than all but two states (CA and Texas); it is about double the size (populationwise) of the LA metro area.
I’m not sure if this makes me sad or proud. As much as I tend to believe that I hate crowds and traffic and people in general, I find I have no major desire to move elsewhere.
(Yes, it is ~4-1/2 months later… I’m going thru the whiney links from the new map thread.)
Cows and miners don't shower.
@thismyusername
I don't know if you knew this, but Wyoming is almost always unrepresented in the "Who's buying this crap?" pictogram.
@curtise I don't know if you know this, but I almost called that state Colorado.
Silly rabbits. That's because they don't have the internet yet. (or running water)
Sorry Wyoming. Ok, not really.
@mfladd
I think i like the dinosaur game more than is expected of people.
@mfladd I hate when I forget I'm watching a gif
This might have just a bit to do with it: (The map chart is not population adjusted.)

@RedOak Indeed. The city of Los Angeles alone has over six times the population of Wyoming. The greater LA area? - over 30 times.

There's people there? I thought it was an empty hole in the map. Like maybe storage space for the other states.
There's no time for internet, they're too busy plotting the takeover after the zombie apocalypse and militia training and cow tipping and stuff.
No one on Lake Michigan bought one either....
@afullbeard during other parts of the year we're often on Lake Michigan and regularly buy stuff here.
Apparently Wyoming and West Virginia have no need for insulated pitchers, either.
