@davidgro
Just for curiosity sake, were the cats treated prior to the infestation?
I’m always interested to see what does or doesn’t work. Currently using Pet Armor drops from Sam’s and have pretty good luck with it. Unfortunately it’s currently out of stock but I’m hoping stock will be renewed this month before I actually need to get some more.
Clothes Moths. Once they’re in you can’t get them out. They will drive you out of house and home as well as termites will. Plus they can destroy heirlooms made by people no longer with you in less than a day!
Asian lady beetles, nothing worse than having one smack you in the face in the middle of the night to get the heart racing. And make sure you can’t go back to sleep. Guess what happened to me last night…
Pantry moths! If you’ve ever had them you know exactly what I’m talking about. As much as I HATE getting bittin by mosquitos, I can always go inside. With pantry moths, where do go?
@sillyheathen Every time I envy people who live where it’s warm and lush and green, I remind myself that the high altitude and dry air and winter cold keep us free from a LOT of nasty pests.
The ones that were still 6 volts.
Fruit flies
Greenhead flies
Cave crickets, aka spider crickets
Just one small quibble please…aren’t mosquitoes a tiny bit venomous what with the “my saliva will numb you” action?
@therealjrn Science hippies mostly say that mosquitoes don’t have venom.
@zhicks1987

/giphy damn hippies
@therealjrn I believe most people are just allergic to their saliva. It’s not venomous.
@Mehlachi Well, yeah…if you believe facts and science ya durn hippie.
@Mehlachi @therealjrn

Ladybeetles, because they bite you without any provocation.
Mosquitos may not be venomous but they can still cause you to die …
There’s our @Kyeh! Always finding the bright side!
@therealjrn And then there are ticks.

@Kyeh @therealjrn
Mosquitoes are the greatest mass murderers of humans and other mammals compared to other species aren’t they?

@f00l @Kyeh

/giphy We’re number one!
@f00l @therealjrn When I was a little kid I asked my mom “why did God make mosquitoes?” She said “maybe to make people wear clothes.”
Termites! What other bug can destroy your home so fast?
Termites are my #1.
Roaches probably 2nd.
Currently dealing with cat fleas, so that’s my vote for the moment.

@chienfou @davidgro
Fleas of any kind are the worst. No one wants to come to a house with fleas and it just makes you feel dirty.
Locusts. - Pharaoh
TICKS!

@NecrisRex
They destroyed a lovely Chinese carpet in my house. I never buy anything made of wool anymore.
@NecrisRex I just found this in Reddit! There are wasps you can buy that target the larvae and wipe them out. I’m going to try this!
@Kyeh - that looks interesting! We lost several hand knitted garments that are completely irreplaceable.
@NecrisRex Horrible. I lost an Icelandic wool jacket that was my late husband’s.
Ceratopogonidae (no-see-ums).
Cockroaches and Silverfish. Hate them.
On the other side of the spectrum, we have moths, the most fluffiest bugs to exist and one of the coolest.
Fuck mosquitos. The planet would be better off without them.
Indian meal moth aka Pantry moths
(not to be confused with panty moths!)
