Museum of quack medical devices. Further where it was but it was weird and informative.
@brubro Minneapolis! and also closed, sadly
Our family trips always includes an out of the ordinary museum stop. Three of my favorites are the Lane Museum of mini cars in Nashville, the American Sign Museum in Cincinnati, and the weirdest, in Alton, Illinois, The American Oddities Museum.
Hands on Science Museums!
Strong Museum of Play in Rochester, NY is at the top of my list. Also love the City Museum in St Louis
weirdest (only drove by, didn’t have time to go in) would be the Phallological Museum in Iceland.
@Turken Museum of Plan is legendary!
Long Island Telephone Museum

The ones I work(ed) in. Hall of Science is definitely up there.
Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago is so awesome!
LEGOS! EGGOS! STRATEGO! AWESOME!
The very best museum I’ve gone to is the Buffalo Bill Center of the West Museum in Cody Wy. It’s very large and right next to Yellowstone Nat’l Park.
The strangest is the International UFO and Research Center, Roswell NM. I really enjoyed that one!
In our travels, we try to hit the smaller and quirky museums, and have gone to many of them West of the Mississippi…
Museum of Sex in NYC was pretty good. But I think my favorite is the National Cryptologic Museum in Maryland.
