My blender can’t grate cheese, or slice vegetables, or fine-fluffy grate nutmeg and hazelnuts, or turn biscuit dough, or coarsely chop anything, so, yes, the (very) old food processor.
My blender does make a mean smoothie, but so does the food processor.
The blender blends into the counter motif. The food processor sticks out like chopped suey and gets shoved in a cabinet. Laziness wins, so does the blender.
I don’t have either one of those but I was thrilled beyond belief to get my creepy man-horse puppet today from the last mehrathon, so you can maybe divine from that where food making gadget type things fall into my priorities
Food processor- grate cheese for a variety of dishes. Freshly grated is better then the bags of pre-grated. Grate vegetables. Make guacamole. Blend sauces. My blender broke and my processor solved all my problems
I don’t own a food processor. But I do have a ninja blender and I think I could use it as one.
My blender is also a food processor. Vitamix!
Neither. I hand chop. Kids use blender for making smoothies though.
No food processor here but I do have a Blendtec.

@stolicat
and hey… it’s a Cuisinart to boot!
It’d be weird to make a margarita in the food processor.
Just bought a food processor and it’s still in the box. But I do have a Blendtech blender that makes awesome smoothies and Margheritas.
PANS! GLANDS! CRAYONS! AWESOME!
Did processor let’s me, well, process veggies for cooking. Particularly shedding things like carrots which is a massive pita to do a lot of by hand
Lots of protein drinks in the blender.

The what and the what?
I use my stick blender more frequently than anything else.

BLENDTEC ALL THE THINGS!
Will it blend?
Yes, it will.
Food processor. It is a Cuisinart 14 cup. I use the shredding and slicing discs more than the blade itself.
My Blendtec (meh purchase, yay!) is a workhorse, but doesn’t get used as much.
@KNmeh7 Your Blendtec will turn a pound of ice cubes into snow in 10 seconds. Keep that in mind.
