@mfladd@elipongo Can anyone explain how, in the first Flash Gordon movie, they had never been to Earth, yet they planned to create earthquakes? How were they even aware of the word? It’s been a long time, but I think I’m remembering it right. It was a major question for me when I saw the movie.
@TheCO2 A song about a remorseful killer waiting to be executed, while the chorus speculates whether he will kick spasmodically as he strangles in the noose, is a feel-good tune? OK…
It is literally impossible to choose one. Queen is an amazing band, each song shows a new face. There are also so many more awesome songs by them, than listed. So, while I voted for “Show Must Go On”, where the hell is, for example, “Princes of the Universe”?
@seraphimcaduto Yeah, I am outraged. Honestly, how can you not list this song? It’s absolutely insanely bad-ass, the video is awesome and the solo is plain sick.
Growing up, any time Bohemian Rhapsody came on the radio, the whole family would sing along. Any other song, it was “just girls” or “just parents” or something. But for the Rhapsody, we all sang. Good memories.
That’s like saying, who is your favorite grandchild?
YOU LOVE THEM ALL equally in their own unique way (Just like them songs!!!)
@Veloslave Agreed!
All of them.
Of course Bohemian Rhapsody will win. But man is A Kind Of Magic far and away their best.
And how the hell can you split up We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions??? That’s like, INHUMAN, man.

Seriously all these plus Sheer Heart Attack.
What? Nothing from the Flash Gordon soundtrack?
@elipongo Let’s go hardcore Flash and Queen.
@elipongo but if you want to go mainstream Flash.
@mfladd, I remember watching the oooold B&W Flash Gordon serials with my mom as a kid. #WarmAndFuzzyMemories
@haydesigner Buster Crabbe! For your veiwing pleasure - The Planet of Peril (1936)

Fat Bottoms Girls…you make the rockin world go round!
Bohemian Rhapsody has to be the top sing-along/feel-good song of the last 41 years.

@macromeh Feel-good, because it’s a great song, not because of the meaning of the song.

FLASH! AAAAHHHH!! SAVIOUR OF THE UNIVERSE!
Tonight it’s Under Pressure.
Can I change my vote I picked Bohemian Rhapsody too fast now I think I like Killer Queen the best. no wait maybe it’s. This is hard to be meh about
@don nailed it!
Weird - I’ve been listening to Queen a lot the past two weeks. I’m going to switch bands and see if you can read my mind again in another two weeks.
@cinoclav Motorhead? The Clash? N*SYNC? Sloan? I bet it’s none of those.
@cinoclav

@serpent I had to vote for another monarch because of princes of the universe NOT bring on the list.

I find myself listening to “Going Slightly Mad” quite often as well.
People like “Don’t stop me know”?
@regnowsin Agreed. Not one of the better ones. But Queen still rocks!
@regnowsin It’s great! Plus, have you heard the cover done by Foxes for Doctor Who?
Always liked Flash

But seriously I like many of them.
@gommiebears Agreed on both counts.
I love the idea of a folk song written by an astrophysicist. And because said astrophysicist is Brian May, I love the reality just as much.
It’s Late. Maybe the most under-appreciated rock song of all time.
@evanmcd I like you lets be friends.
Seriously, its my all time favorite song. This and '39
Check out “I’m in Love With My Car” - my fav, w/ amazing guitar. Second fav might be “Who Wants To Live Forever”
March of the Black Queen from Queen II. Sort of the precursor to Bohemian Rhapsody. One of the greatest songs by any band.
Dragon Attack.
