I kept looking for regular coffee as my "powered drink" option, but looks like you just forgot the "d". Maybe you needed coffee when checking the poll?
@ceagee It's nothing near the original. You can find that type at a few foreign stores. It's malt and more powdery. Not the sweet nutrient filled rich chocolate granules of yesteryear.
Does Gatorade count as a fruity soft drink? Because the electrolytes seem to push it to a different category than Kool-Aid. It's something I drink when I'm exercising or sick and dehydrated.
@jqubed i used to mix my own gatorade to save money. but i decided it was a pain in the ass, though i couldn't bring myself to spend the extra cash to buy it in bottles knowing the cheaper powder existed. so now i'm drinking water :)
Organic Dark Hot Chocolate Mix ( fair trade). Regular hot cocoa doesn't do it for me after this. Plus, I can "feel good" about drinking it. Healthy for the planet and other people and such. Very good way to justify the indulgence. Although I will say that Target's Archer Farms has a yummy mint flavored hot chocolate that has the siren's call. But then, it's not regular hot cocoa either.
@ceagee Is it really "healthy" for the planet? Does it make the planet more hospitable for life? Or does it just contribute less to making the planet less hospitable for life than "non-organic" hot chocolate?
If a food is "healthy" for you, that doesn't mean it will give you negative calories. It's just less unhealthy for you than other foods.
@wyvern Have you tried the True Lemon/True Lime lemonade, raspberry lemonade, and cherry limeade packets? They mix into a 16.9 oz water bottle. cherry limeade is my favorite! They're at my local Walmart for 10 packets/$1.74.
I only answered "chocolate milk" on a technicality. Most of my fruit and vitamin drinks come from squeeze bottle concentrates now. Mmmmm.... propylene glycol...
@Kimbob252 An Astronaut ( secret recipe revealed here for the first time): Fresh virgin snow filled in a glass, Tsp or 2 or so of tang. healthy shot of vodka. Lift off !
@Kimbob252 I did a ctrl+f for Tang and glad to see I wasn't alone. I don't drink it too often so one container (a cool ass container at that) lasts eons and tastes sooo good
Cocoa
I also drink a lot of Zip Fizz when I'm at the gym.
@cengland0 I almost answered ZipFizz. But the instant Folgers won.
Hot cocoa mix. Not the consumer grocery store stuff though
I kept looking for regular coffee as my "powered drink" option, but looks like you just forgot the "d". Maybe you needed coffee when checking the poll?
@PurplePawprints I noticed this too. I was like, what do they mean by powered? Like something made with blenders or microwaves or what...?
@ninjaemilee Battery acid.
Hot chocolate!
POWER RANGERS!
I thought I was the only one still calling it Carnation Instant Breakfast. Thanks, Meh Poll Writer.
"Powered drink".
Time for an OHSHIT Report!
(Hasn't it been a while since we got one of those? I friggin' love them.)
Also, tomorrow is 4/20. Going to make up for last year's mistake?
Was that the last OHSHIT Report?
Folgers Crystals
Soylent green.
Tho the quality has declined.
@f00l It's hard to find good people these days.
nuun
4 packets of lemon/lime Emergen-C in a can of Pepsi.
POWDERED ALCOHOL
http://www.palcohol.com/
@Pavlov I miss Spike Your Juice- pour in packet to full sugar juice, stick airlock on, wait 3 or more days, and there's a large bottle of wine.
How was Hot Cocoa not one of the options?
I guess powdered beer hasn't caught on yet.
Hot apple cider
Gelfling Essence
I vote for powdered water.
(Mentally inserting the "d")
Who knew? http://gizmodo.com/5624936/there-is-such-thing-as-dry-water
Pooping Powder, er, I mean orange flavored Metamucil.
Brawndo: The Thirst Mutilator
It's got electrolytes.
It's got what plants crave.
I second hot apple cider.
@JT954 powdered ??
@ceagee yeah. it comes in an envelope, and you do it like "hot chocolate" ...
The old ovaltine, before they destroyed it with the disgusting new recipe. Back when it was the granules.
@juststephen The Vermont Country Store carries the original.
@ceagee It's nothing near the original. You can find that type at a few foreign stores. It's malt and more powdery. Not the sweet nutrient filled rich chocolate granules of yesteryear.
Powdered chocolate milk is a thing?
@trisk Nestlé Quik

Does cocaine count as a powdered drink? If so, my favorite powdered drink is still Kool-Aid. Drugs are bad.
Soylent!
@thismyusername I begged my mother for this crap. Then she made me drink it. Blech.
@thismyusername Mmm, who doesn't love the flavor of imitation strawberry!
@ceagee Same here!
@thismyusername Yay! Glad someone else mentioned strawberry Nesquik too!
Land O Lakes hot chocolate

@DonberKon And what about Naomi ?
To all of those who didn't vote for chocolate milk: You are all stupid and dumb.
Strawberry Quik.
@PocketBrain On vanilla ice cream
I put True Lemon in my water. That is about the closest I get to drinking powdered drinks.
@wyvern Have you tried the True Lemon/True Lime lemonade, raspberry lemonade, and cherry limeade packets? They mix into a 16.9 oz water bottle. cherry limeade is my favorite! They're at my local Walmart for 10 packets/$1.74.
@kshannon1 I tried one of those, but didn't like it. I didn't like the sweeteners that are in it. I would like to try the True Orange though.
Matcha!
Crystal Light w/ Caffiene
The only powder I use in my drinks is "cheese" from boxed mac and cheese.
I like chocolate milk!
@sanspoint
I like the convenience of iced tea or strawberry lemonade mix in those tiny packets. My kids like the Hawaiian Punch flavors
I only answered "chocolate milk" on a technicality. Most of my fruit and vitamin drinks come from squeeze bottle concentrates now. Mmmmm.... propylene glycol...
I'm going to let on that I'm"older". My favorite all time powder drink mix was Tang. Just like the astronauts drank : )
@Kimbob252 I was waffling between Tang and Ovaltine! My favorite tang is double the amount, I do like it chewy. :)
@paula I also drank it hot in the cold of the winter.
@Kimbob252 An Astronaut ( secret recipe revealed here for the first time): Fresh virgin snow filled in a glass, Tsp or 2 or so of tang. healthy shot of vodka.

@ceagee snow and vodka sounds more like a cosmonaut
We drink way too much advocare spark. I like watermelon, wife likes orange. Koolade with caffeine.
Orange Soda flavored Zip Fizz.
@lisaviolet is that the stuff in the little tubes? I like the grape...
@thismyusername Yep, that's it.
I get ours at Costco online. That way I can order the stuff we like. I've found the citrus to be bitter.

My Favorite is the Drink for Astronauts!!!
