Biggest mammal meat - Pig roast (over a fire on a spit) in Austria while kayaking with 12 kids (worked for DoDDS outdoor program in Germany). Did NOT want to be part of the cooking of the pig. It still had his head on and I felt sorry for it. I have been tempted to roast brat child on occasion… but even the meh pan being sold today is too small for her so she is safe. For now. LOL
District Boy Scout event - made a pot of chili so big we used a keg with the top taken off. ...and then sent them all to sleep in their cozy little tents.
Turducken. I may have cooked larger turkeys, but the turducken was most memorable. It cooked to perfection but unfortunately husband destroyed it when he carved it so we didn't end up with nice slices, just big chunks of various fowl.
Prepped a taco/burrito/nacho bar for ~300 people. I've never cooked so much ground beef (75lbs) and pulled so much chicken(30lbs) before or after. Did the whole thing in a galley sized kitchen.
I roasted a goose a few years back... It was a lot of work pulling out the surface fat before putting it in the oven to cook on a standing rack.
Even so, the amount of grease that poured out of that bird was pretty epic. Suffice it to say, I stick with turkeys, ducks, and chickens now, though I have never done the three of them as a turducken.
@cj0e I'm making a tortilla espanola for the first time this week in a cast iron skillet. Super excited to see how it turns out, the one I had recently at the tapas place around here was amazing.
Actually BAKED a humongous, multi-layer, very pink 60th birthday cake for a dear friend. Decorated with lots of fru-fru and topped with sparkles! Damn thing must have weighed 50 or 60 pounds. Tasted delicious and was a hit at her party.
36 lb. turkey. That thing was monstrous.
@Pony Just WOW!
@pooflady I know, right? It was a behemoth. I didn't even know they grew them that big. LOL
@Pony Are the women in your family growing facial hair? 'Cuz it takes a lot of steroids to get a turkey up to 36 lb.
@PocketBrain That was 25 years ago, but I'm pretty sure none of us grew beards.

Does an eight gallon pot of beer count as cooking?
If not, then a four gallon pot of chili con carne
Piglet in a fire pit!!
An Orca. Took for freakin' ever.
@PocketBrain Don't cook this Orca. https://gumroad.com/l/pGPN
I used to work in the family restaurant. When you cook over 200 meals a day, sometimes the specials are big.
We crucified six lambs around a fire on the beach. Mmmmm.....
One of those big ass pizzas that are pre-made (but not frozen) and you take home and cook. Barely fit in the oven. (we also baked a turkey once)

@cj0e was there a mole station there?
@JonT Not sure what that is, so I'll assume not. It was a college campus dormitory.
@JonT

Does way-too-many pounds of boiled crawfish count?
@Moose personally, never had a chance to try mudbugs. but I bet that was delicious.
@cj0e that picture is actually just from Google but yes, crawfish (cooked and seasoned properly) are my favorite part of the spring
Baby Dinosaur
Paella party was a lot of work. Plus saffron is crazy expensive.
30lb Turkey.
45lbs of ribs for a cookout.
25lbs of Spaghetti for a college function.
@ChadP real saffron is stupid expensive, but it's sooo much better than the cheap alternative. And Paella - so good. love that, and tortilla espanola
