The best coffee moment in a film is Kingpin when he throws the coffee in the guys face for the second time to throw of the landlord. Right after he said "now that's HOT!
The thing about Jimmy's serious gourmet shit is it's a good scene despite the guy doing most of the talking being the worst actor ever. SLJ and JT carry the scene without saying much. Love ya, QT, but glad you're a director.
It includes several of these and others besides the ones offered here as options. Unfortunately, many of the clips are no longer working (but can be found via Google searches). Personally, I disagree with the article's conclusion. Instead it is probably Pulp Fiction or perhaps Mulholland Dr.
Regardless, I voted for Jimmy's "serious gourmet shit"
@LaVikinga Yeah, I'm with Harry on this one. Don't be putting sugar in my coffee. As a matter of fact, I own a Smith and Wesson (a lot smaller than his, of course, but fine for me).
Coffee is wonderful; it's the great civilizer. Trust me. I've seen me before coffee, and it's scary.
Didn't even need to read any of the comments; just searched the page for Bill Murray. First off, the movie Coffee and Cigarettes > everything else. But within that movie, it's this scene:
This is the best coffee moment in a movie:
Pulp fiction or usual suspects. Hard to call this one with out a replay.
@jml326
I'm ok with a Pulp / Suspects / Glengarry three way tie. None of those can be outside the top five though.
@saodell I feel the same.

@Sbaugh21 that's what he gets for re-reading the new formula pert plus ingredients
@Sbaugh21 Yes, this is what I was going to say, too. I don't know how it didn't make the list to begin with.
"I always have coffee while I watch radar. You know that! Everyone knows that!" - Lord Dark Helmet
Judge Reinhold stops a robbery at Mi-T-Mart in Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
@Nate311
Don't forget the coffees too hot where's the ice in Clerks
Robert De Niro in Ronin and his coffee cup ambush
@notthesamplejet
Doesnt De Niro also put his borrowed Foster Grants by a cup of coffee in Midnight Run? Still his best attempt at comedy.
Maaan, now I want to watch Amélie again. And I don't even know why.
This scene. Hands down. I can't believe it wasn't on the list.
@SSteve Agree,
The thing about Jimmy's serious gourmet shit is it's a good scene despite the guy doing most of the talking being the worst actor ever. SLJ and JT carry the scene without saying much. Love ya, QT, but glad you're a director.
This is sort of about coffee. It has a coffee can anyway.
@KDemo I was going to go with a different scene
@spitfire6006006 Agreed.
What about when Will Ferrell makes Zooey Deschanel drink "the world's best coffee" in Elf?
@terrence
@terrence Of course the scene where he goes to work w/ James Caan and has coffee is also classic:
?
@terrence YES! Thank you! Surprised this didn't make it on the choices!
Come on, guys. Where's the love for the opening scene of So I Married an Axe Murderer??
@retswerb
I never say OMG. But all I can think of is, OMG!! Best. Coffee. Scene. Ever.
No one poisons coffee like Alfred Hitchcock. Plus w/ Bergman, Grant and Raines what's not to love about "Notorious" ?
This coffee smells like shit!?
Austin, it is shit...
Awwww then it's not just me... It's a bit nutty
Austin powers baby
When I googled the Amélie answer, this was the first hit: http://www.ifc.com/fix/2011/12/top-10-coffee-scenes-in-movies

@baqui63 -
The Best in Show clip was hilarious - "We met at Starbucks. Not at the same Starbucks . . . ."
@KDemo That whole bit kills me, especially about the Eddie Bauer catalogue.
@jaremelz - Me too (LLBean, but really the same thing ;-))
@KDemo Damn, see I really should be sleeping.

The driving instructor during the driving test scene in 'License to Drive'..."if you spill a drop of this coffee, you fail"
From the movie Witness,
"Honey, that's a great cup of coffee!"

Spaceballs.
ORANGE MOCHA FRAPPUCCINO!
Classic.
