@heartny@PooltoyWolf I can’t believe we found this so hilarious back in the '70s. Although, I was around 10 years old then, so…
Also, there’s the fact that he was made popular by beer commercials, and if anything can take something not at all clever or entertaining and make it an extremely popular cultural meme it’s, well… dilly dilly. 'Nuff said.
If I owned/was owned by your cat, I would call him “Pry” or “Pree” and tell everyone that I named him for a Greek god. (Priapus is usually pronounced as PRY-uh-puss or PREE-uh-puss, so works for a cat.)
@medz I tried to post that earlier but it wouldn’t go through. Also tried to find a photo with a fidget spinner on a cat’s nose, but it seems that’s something dogs do. I guess cats don’t want anything to do with that kind of crap.
Those are amazing markings on him. I hope he is a lap cat love bug. One of mine (campus kitty) is still Thing Thing (as in thing 1 and thing 2 except that thing 2 found a home). I am no good at naming cats. Took me almost a month to name Tigger. Let him grown on you and perhaps a name will come to you as his personality emerges as he gets used to his new family.
@therealjrn The giveaway was that the pic looked way too blurry, as if it was a shrunken down screenshot that was compressed and decompressed a few too many times. And since I didn’t dare run a search on Google, I went to Reddit instead.
