I mean it was just August/start of September that was bad here/running the AC hard.
I’ve had the windows open for at least two weeks.
I like fall though. The heat/bugs suck. Summer is a scam propagated by teachers unions to sick horrible kids on their horrible parents… blah blah deep state blah
I’d miss the extended daylight. My preference is to sweat rather than shiver and have a perpetually cold nose and fingers. It’s hard to be motivated to get out of bed when it still looks like midnight outside and feels like The Day After Tomorrow.
@rtjhnstn Replaced briefly by having to rake or leaf-blower it. Unless you live in the South, and then it’s dead-leaf season all damn year long, just not as many for part of it.
When winter really hits, I miss summer because you can go outside without bundling up. I miss wearing shorts and t-shirts and sandals.
I’m not fond of long sleeves at all.
And having to put on shoes or snow boots, heavy coats and shit just to get the mail or take out the trash just sucks.
@LaserEyes I agree. I always have the correct clothes for the weather, so I am seldom cold in WI. But I sure hate the drudgery of getting ready and the puddles under my winter outer wear in the basement.
Nothing. I prefer fall weather. I hate 105 and high humidity, I hate mosquitos (they love me), the sun is blinding, I haven’t had a vacation since precovid. If I did I’d do it in the winter and go someplace warm. I like cooking inside where it is air conditioned and there are no bugs. I also get to stop mowing and weed eating. So yeah, bring on fall!
ETA-I will miss the joy that playing in the hose brings to my dog. She loves the damn hose and chasing the water. She loved one hose so much she chewed it off trying to get water to come out. SMH
All of it.
Literally nothing. Summer is awful.
@kjady I agree!
@kjady Best answer IMO.
/showme ladies with big hair and visors rollerblading in bikinis
Something went terribly wrong. Please try again.
@medz Meh needs to go back to Stable Diffusion.
@awk @medz They also need to sell some serious beer goggles in this Mehrathon.
KuoH
@awk @kuoh @medz
/youtube why don’t we get drunk and screw
RIP Jimmy…
@kuoh @medz
she just needs a little AI enhancement:
@awk @medz And how many bitcoins will that require?
KuoH
@awk @medz Those have got to be the Mehrathonest rollerblades in history.
WTF?
It’s still summer HERE.
98 F’n degrees today. (And that F ain’f just for Fahrenheit.)
@phendrick Failsius?
KuoH
@kuoh @phendrick 98 Failsius would be too much.
Mini skirts
@somf69 I’m not giving them up.
I’ll still go on vacations, just to places where it’s warm (southern hemisphere).
Miss nothing, absolutely nothing. Most of the summer was over 99 degrees and no rain. Super high humidity.
@SpacedInvader Houston had 30 days of over-100F temps in August, a record that will probably stand until next year.
Cool, refreshing ball sweat

KuoH
@kuoh I probably feel differently, I want the light after work so I can do stuff. But I also get this. It’s already hard to get up some days…
Inflatables in the pool!
All the thrilling meh-rathons.
The locals only bars/taverns along with the drink and appetizer specials.
I would really miss going out with my friends and just talking, laughing with them. Life’s a little tough right now, but they make life bearable.
@dearestsammy That’s why no matter how much I don’t want to hang out with people I always try to make time, because the memories will last forever.
Vent on us! What’s making life tough?
Ha! Should be what will you miss most about meh…
@bfg9000 is it going away?
@bfg9000 @zinimusprime Only if you shut down your browser and/or app…
Not having to shovel the driveway.

Golf outdoors.
Vacations? Who are the Vacations?
@cornchip A mythical family from a couple of movies.
@cornchip @werehatrack I believe they’re called the Griswolds.
KuoH
@cornchip @kuoh Okay, then, they’re an Australian indie rock band.

I didn’t miss any of it - I was right there in the middle of it soaking it up and enjoying myself.
Looking forward to the next one.
Not a damned thing.
@lisaviolet Hard to miss something that’s still camped on the couch and raiding the fridge.
@werehatrack You got that right.
The long days. These sunsets before 7:00 bum me out. Not the heat, though.
