@RiotDemon I managed to find a job I can be introverted mostly too. I do data analysis, so I meet with folks up front and maybe a status/check-for-changes meeting here and there in the middle, then 90% of the time just shoot an email with results at the end. So I spend most of my time blissfully staring at my screen summarizing and analyzing data. Occasionally I even get to grumble to myself about people messing up the data (like a field is only supposed to have certain values but someone used a different value anyway). It’s great
I am a strong believer in a diverse workforce: others on my team are more extroverted and they do the team tasks that require talking, and I love them for that.
My dad taught us as kids things like when you enter a room and see another person alone it is your job to go over and talk to them, make them feel comfortable. I was never “the life of the party” or anything like that (I nearly fainted in HS when I had to do my first speech in speech class) but I always felt like I could approach anyone and hang, so I thought I was an extrovert.
When I was about 30 my Co did a Myers-Briggs and did a really good job of explaining the differences (simplified main point is extroverts get energized by being w others, introverts not so much). I finally realized both me and my dad were introverts. He had taught me those things because he had started his own business and knew those skills would help him land work, so he learned them and decided we should too. Awesome Dad.
I’m assuming Chocovert has something to do with chocolate, so that works for me. An introverted chocovert. Or would that be a choverted introvert? Whatever.
At work it’s kind of a requirement to be an extrovert as I work with people most of the day. I make my adaptations to do my job. In my private life I tend to be more introverted.
@LaVikinga 1st bit is about the survey
From “Hello” i cut/transitioned to Adel’s (singer) popular song of the same name.
You see last night on the award show The Grammys Adel won Best pop solo performance, Record of the year, Song of the year for Hello and Album of the year for 24. When she was accepting the last award (Album of the year) while on stage she talked directly to Beyoncé (Adel called her Queen ) telling her how inspirational she was and how her album was the one that should have won the award. It was quite emotional, giving and gracious of Adel in my view, so I apparently created a very confusing post in which you could not pass by without making a snide remark.
A lot of introverts, ready to share their inner feelings? I think being an introvert is too personal of an experience to tell about to somebody else. Therefore I keep it secret and only share the pervert side. Extraverts though… Bleh, such a despicable bunch. Should be isolated, all of them.
Introverted pervert checking in.
I am a lovely seafoam green
P.s. vert is french for green.
@CaptAmehrican This was my first thought. I remember my crayons well.

Wait a min here. Sometimes it’s nice being green.
@f00l Yeah, but it isn’t easy being green.

Extroverted at work. Introverted most every where else. Perverted for a certain person.
@RiotDemon that also sounds like me to a tee.
