I'd be pleased to see more kitchen ware and bedding. Oh, and wide width shoes, non mesh, preferably with great arch support and in dark blue, grey, purple (you like it. I do too.), or similar. (Seriously, I've worn new balance cross trainers for ages, but they don't withstand my abuse very well anymore. But I don't want to buy $60 sneakers just to have them fall apart just out of warranty.)
Any of the above would be fine. Or use your imagination, you never know what will appeal to the sarcastic wit of this crowd.
Just don't give in to the impulse that "all of the above" is a good idea. We've all seen the rabbit hole that falls into, and it ain't a pretty picture.
@hollbolljapanesechefsknife.com I guarantee you can find a santoku as good or better than the Shun. My personal favorite is a Hattori HD santoku (of course it's out of stock right now).
@cahuston You have the energy of a 3 year old kid. It is just that the kid only has to move 20 pounds, and you have to move 10 times that with the same amount of energy. (Or in my case, 15 times that.) Of course we move more slowly.
@CaptAmehrican maybe you could make toast in the popcorn popper ? Just stir in the jam. It might be a little out of shape, but it would taste the same ?
@sohmageek It's very neat, but not a staple yet. I still think it's overpriced for what it does. $100 is a much better price point than $179 if they want widespread adoption.
@DaveInSoCal I don't know if I'd pay $100 either. Maybe if it had a place to dock my phone... Or if it gave me a discount on Amazon orders/free year of prime...
Bluetooth speakers, but not really Bluetooth speakers, but Bluetooth speakers that have the little cord with a quarter-inch mini stereo plug so you can plug the bluetooth speaker into a device and use it not unlike a Bluetooth speaker
I would love A Bluetooth Stereo amplifier that gets wired to existing medium to large home speakers and has the music streamed to the wireless amplifier.
The amp should be battery powered. So I can take the amp and speakers to a tailgate party, to a cookout in the park, on a camping trip, or to the beach and have an outdoor "jammie-jam" with no AC power required.
The screen on my harmony remote is fading like Marty McFly. I have maybe a month or two left? It's about 7 years old and my wife and or son knocks it onto the floor about every other day. It doesn't have long... So a harmony remote would be great! $19 bucks would be good I guess? Ok maybe $35.
Alen air purfiers or any other good hepa air purfier. Also a tracking device for dogs. Quality Security merchandise A electrician, handyman, carpenter, technical person to help with speakers, computer etc. ( I have a lot of bad luck with finding good workers)
@Mellaine I've had a lot of bad luck with contractors too. I waste a lot of time now making repairs that someone else could probably do faster, but at least if I screw up, I won't have to call myself to argue about it
@The_Baron Yes! But I'm not picky; I'd settle for almost any mp3 player. Especially one that also has an FM radio receiver. I know I'm an old fart, but I want a radio, too, OK? An mp3 player with FM and Bluetooth made by someone other than Apple: I'm in!
@gertiestn The Creative Zen was the best in the mid 2000's. I had the 16GB model for a while, my son's grandmother still uses it for music sometimes. Not only did it support most media, drag and drop into the player as a storage device, also has an FM tuner and SD slot for storage expansion. (Big thing back then). Solid state memory and cheaper then the iPod nano, which didn't have the same features until later on in the decade.
@carpe_dumb Yes! I still have my Zune HD, but after all these years the battery is dying. Has anybody had experience with the companies that replace Zune batteries? Hell, my own human battery may not last all that long, but still... (And I had a Zen many years ago; unfortunately, it died on me shortly after the warranty expired. But it was a nifty little number, while it worked.)
@The_Baron THIS. I had 3 Sansas at one time, one that I bought and two from my first bag of crap. All 3 have died now and I can't find a decent mp3 player that I like. Do they even make them anymore?
@melwin I've been astonished to find that decent mp3 players seem to be disappearing. I guess the idea is that people use their phones for music. Nope, not here.
@gertiestn I don't like any of the apps available to play music on my phone. My Sansas were more user friendly, and they didn't get hot like my phone does if I use it for long periods of time.
How 'bout a tuner? The surround on mine took a dump. Figuratively. So, ya wanna know who makes the most poorly designed remote? Anybody? No? Well it's Yamaha, that's who. And I guess their tuners are pretty sucky, too.
@WINTERMUTE No crap. How hard is it to find 22LR ammunition anymore? Frick'n hoarders. I was able to get 1600 rds of Federal the other day because of an email notification I caught when it was sent. Sold out hours later. Until this, I hadn't been able to get any of cheap stuff for almost a year. At least I will get some target practice in now w/o having to use my 9mm.
@WINTERMUTE I was able to get 5 (325 rounds each) for 24.99 each, and I thought that was good. Actually not bad for 7-8 cents a round. This is just where we are at, if we can even get it. Now I am on a damn email list when it comes up again! I will ping you if I see it.
Maybe Meh could sell some alarm clocks. Then all those whiny East Coasters could set them for 11:55pm, assuming they didn't sell out before said whiny crybabies could buy one.
@mfladd@lotsofgoats I'm actually located in East Tennessee (almost Virginia or North Carolina, take your pick), so I am on EST. I just don't like complainers :)
@capguncowboy what??? You're EST? I could of sworn I remembered Texas. But then again I can't remember what I had for Breakfast. That's ok, I like complainers here. They add to the mayhem I love so much.
@FroodyFrog whoops, sorry. There was no last time. Those dimensions are rough, since the box is upstairs and I'm downstairs, I'm buzzed and there's no measuring device handy.
All of Amazon's top 100 selling products in every single Amazon category, each at no more than 1/3 the lowest historical price that Amazon has ever offered for each item, every single item to be purple only, including Darth Vader.
Batteries!
@Teripie I need C's to feed that cat toy they sold awhile back. My cats love it and it eats batteries.
Also some 9 volts would be nice.
Whatever you want to give me
A popcorn maker with built-in speaker and knife to sharpen the kernels. Also includes a vacuum cleaning mechanism.
@mcanavino Needs moar Bluetooth.
batteries maan
I, like everyone else who selected it, thought the last one spoke to us directly.
Catshirts. Apparently this month's goat dislikes them.
(And on purple, pretty please?)
@narfcake Do you like purple, or are yoi just thinking of @barney?
@MrsBeckett Like. Why else would I buy a purple penguin plushie ...
... when I already have a blue one?
@MrsBeckett I love purple.
So exactly WHERE do we submit requests?
(Because I totally meant it when I suggested Harmony remotes last week.)
But I don't want to buy $60 sneakers just to have them fall apart just out of warranty.)
knafs, I need more knafs
Pillows
I lost my Kershaw Cryo… best knife ever. If you could toss that up there soon, I'd be eternally grateful.
Fixed the poll for you...
Any of the above would be fine.
Or use your imagination, you never know what will appeal to the sarcastic wit of this crowd.
Just don't give in to the impulse that "all of the above" is a good idea. We've all seen the rabbit hole that falls into, and it ain't a pretty picture.
@2many2no Dang Yoda way to sound creepily threatening!
Imagine surprising us with Shun Knives.
@mfladd those are the ones I have at home! Best knives ever! Except my santoku broke and they don't make that line any more. :(
@hollboll Yup. So sorry for your loss. The other problem is I am an Eastie and when I wake up they will all be gone :( Please save me one!
@hollboll
@hollboll japanesechefsknife.com I guarantee you can find a santoku as good or better than the Shun. My personal favorite is a Hattori HD santoku (of course it's out of stock right now).
Glazed, Raspberry Filled Donut BABY ARMS!!!
NONE OF THE ABOVE!!!
I promise I won't submit a request in the forum for you to sell a decent 10" tablet at a meh price. Thank you.
A machine that can give the energy of a 3 year old.
@cahuston Cocaine. Just sprinkle it on your oatmeal.
@cahuston Take away some of the energy from the 3 year old. We need it to keep up with them
@cahuston You have the energy of a 3 year old kid. It is just that the kid only has to move 20 pounds, and you have to move 10 times that with the same amount of energy. (Or in my case, 15 times that.) Of course we move more slowly.
@cahuston How about a machine that can suck the energy out of a 3 year old when you need that to happen?
I need a new toaster
@CaptAmehrican maybe you could make toast in the popcorn popper ? Just stir in the jam. It might be a little out of shape, but it would taste the same ?
I would never request a cheap, unlocked iPhone 5s.
Remote controlled light bulbs, USB desk junk (can cooler, coffee warmer, motion sensing barking dog), garbage can basketball hoops (ball sold separately), chopsticks (on twofer Tuesday, 'cause who needs one chopstick?), a "That was mediocre!" button, meh branded ping pong balls.
I'll give it more thought and get back to you.
Edit: did the Amazon Echo put some other household assistant tech out of business because their product wasn't as good? Sell whatever that was.
@DaveInSoCal is echo that great? I still don't get the hype.
@DaveInSoCal Oh please let them sell a That was Mediocre button!! Please!
@sohmageek Sooooo.... you want a bluetooth speaker dock? :)
@DaveInSoCal I can do without the Bluetooth. I'd love it AirPlay though :)
For all the Echo wonderees…
(don't have one myself, just read this yesterday)

PERSONAL TRIMMERS!!!!!! you guys haven't done that one yet.
@cranky1950 Good idea! I need trim. Wait, what?
Exercise/Yoga mat in purple? Kettlebells?
Something workout related would be nice.
No ShakeWeights. Do NOT try to sell those to me.
@looseneck
@hollboll Those people are way to happy being humiliated.
@looseneck
@looseneck nope. I will not touch this. I will not touch this. I will not touch this. So hard not too! Resist!
lol omg please shakeweights in fukus
@mfladd I'm too scared to make you touch this. I've seen your work :)
@mfladd But...butt...if you don't touch it, who will?
@jaremelz
@mfladd I don't know what you mean.
Hardcore drugs?
I would never ask for stainless steel drinking straws.

OK, other than quadcopters, I have too many mini PCs. NUC-like ones. I'd probably buy more. I don't know why.
Alen air purfiers or any other good hepa air purfier. Also a tracking device for dogs. Quality Security merchandise A electrician, handyman, carpenter, technical person to help with speakers, computer etc. ( I have a lot of bad luck with finding good workers)
@Mellaine I was thinking about putting one of those tiles on my dog's rabies tag. Wonder if that would work to track them? Have you heard of them?
@Mellaine I've had a lot of bad luck with contractors too. I waste a lot of time now making repairs that someone else could probably do faster, but at least if I screw up, I won't have to call myself to argue about it
Sansa mp3 player
@The_Baron Yes! But I'm not picky; I'd settle for almost any mp3 player. Especially one that also has an FM radio receiver. I know I'm an old fart, but I want a radio, too, OK? An mp3 player with FM and Bluetooth made by someone other than Apple: I'm in!
@gertiestn Did somebody say Zune?
@gertiestn You're speakin' my language.

Looking for some good earbud knives. Or any earbud knives, really.
@lbutlr Sometimes random google searches come up with really cool stuff.
How 'bout a tuner? The surround on mine took a dump. Figuratively. So, ya wanna know who makes the most poorly designed remote? Anybody? No? Well it's Yamaha, that's who. And I guess their tuners are pretty sucky, too.
Or refurb monitors. Yeah, that's the ticket!
@carpe_dumb Yup, yup, yup. And, welcome aboard.
22LR ammo at 2001 prices
@WINTERMUTE No crap. How hard is it to find 22LR ammunition anymore? Frick'n hoarders. I was able to get 1600 rds of Federal the other day because of an email notification I caught when it was sent. Sold out hours later. Until this, I hadn't been able to get any of cheap stuff for almost a year. At least I will get some target practice in now w/o having to use my 9mm.
@mfladd And the prices! $32 a brick for Thunderbolt? They have GOT to be kidding me!
How about a cgeapshit tv for @cranky1950 ?
Maybe Meh could sell some alarm clocks. Then all those whiny East Coasters could set them for 11:55pm, assuming they didn't sell out before said whiny crybabies could buy one.
@capguncowboy yea well you're a doodiehead
@capguncowboy dude, you do realize you are in Texas? No coast likes you. p.s. Texies suck! :) (cc: Trillian)
Though on a personal basis we be homies.
@mfladd @lotsofgoats I'm actually located in East Tennessee (almost Virginia or North Carolina, take your pick), so I am on EST. I just don't like complainers :)
@capguncowboy with preset alarms!
@capguncowboy what??? You're EST? I could of sworn I remembered Texas. But then again I can't remember what I had for Breakfast. That's ok, I like complainers here. They add to the mayhem I love so much.
@mfladd It's cool. Not many people think Tennessee when they see a name with Cowboy in it
@capguncowboy
To clarify, you ARE in Texas. Correct?
@FroodyFrog
@mfladd
The way the body is falling is incorrect. And do you really expect me to believe that the brick didn't damage/affect the hat?
@FroodyFrog So long as it manages to either
Now, take your brick to the head and enjoy your nap.
@jaremelz
I see stars..
😴🤕💤
A blue-toothed knife, maybe? With a headphone jack.
Knives. Real nice knives. Expensive to. Maybe $200-$300. And only ask $5-$10 for em. I'm all in.
I actually really could use a Lightning speaker dock, but I guess I found meh after they stopped selling them. What a cruel joke.
Pillows
@ashutoshadhav THOSE AREN'T PILLOWS!
@DaveInSoCal I so miss John Candy.
13" Chromebook
A cheap expensive microwave oven refurb, i'mma gonna have to buy one to go with my teevee
I like those little metal blacksmiths puzzles. Or Japanese puzzle boxes. I'd be interested if you sold those.
@DaveInSoCal
Who knew buying one could be so complex (ironically).
Numerous models to choose from on eBay. (Diff number of steps required for each model)
@FroodyFrog i have a 10 step box. LOVE IT. craftsmanship is amazing. Will take pics and post if you want?
@DaveInSoCal
How big is it?
@FroodyFrog roughly 5"x3"x2"?
@DaveInSoCal
You're asking me if the dimensions you're giving are correct?
I dunno, i didn't see it last time.
@FroodyFrog whoops, sorry. There was no last time. Those dimensions are rough, since the box is upstairs and I'm downstairs, I'm buzzed and there's no measuring device handy.
Something that I don't know I want yet. Cheap somethings that I might buy three of. Or more.
What about wireless earbuds
@salv02
None of the above. Fuck...
So wait, if we voted "I understand I should not submit requests in the forum" does that mean I can't list anything here?
@rhcurry02 well no one said you had the truth on the poll...
Beard trimmer
You know what I want? A homunculus.
@Charcoalwolfman You do know you could make one of those. Won't stay homunculous long though...
All of Amazon's top 100 selling products in every single Amazon category, each at no more than 1/3 the lowest historical price that Amazon has ever offered for each item, every single item to be purple only, including Darth Vader.
Especially Darth Vader.
Cruel. Taking a survey, making us think you really care about our opinions. Then stabbing us with an FM radio when we asked for a knife...
@dlskidmore But a knife in the shower would be dangerous and not very entertaining.
@rockblossom but just think of how easy it would be to wash away the blood...
@rockblossom I'm sure somebody could make a movie about that.
Bluetooth Dildos
@somf69 another post I shouldn't be touching. But this is a thing. They look like little cheerleaders.
I am so banned :( (handing my keyboard over)
@mfladd
Jigsaw puzzles. I'm sure you could get those cheap.
MP3 players. Could sell them every 6 months because that's about how long they last.
Bed sheets. Egyptian cotton, the good stuff.
@PFFlyer I've got a wootoof sansa that's 8 years oid now and is still ticking. Volume clicker is å little wonky though.
Photography/videography stuff
Thinly sliced breakfast octopus with just a hint of lime.
