Fruit! Florida strawberries are already in season, and soon loquats will follow. That means all the summer fruit isn’t too far behind! About to plant some watermelons and cape gooseberries and then it’ll be 60-90 days on them.
It not being dark, windy, and bitterly cold! [Upstate NY here.
Lake Effect snow is a constant, but unpredictable hazard and bane of our existence- which is only resolved by it either being so bitterly cold long enough that the Great Lakes [in our case both Erie and Ontario] freeze over, or the daily ambient temps rise above freezing.

I stopped on this Giphy because every other one that popped up was Carey Lake, although another non-weather one was Veronica Lake- very glamorous- but neither was what I wanted to show you.
Getting my veggie garden planted. Will probably again put tomatoes and jalapenos in at the very least, but may add okra, cucumbers and red/yellow/green peppers depending on my travel plans. I may even throw in a watermelon or (other)melon plant.
Also have plans to redo the chicken pen to make it more predator-proof. With eggs over four bucks a dozen it’s time for me to get back into my flock.
Bounciness.
Nothing. Spring means heat returns and so do bugs. Also the expectations to leave the house to socialize ramps up snd I’m not about that.
All of the above!!

@llangley Tes & so Much more!
Flowering shrubs, trees, and bulbs.
Things flowering
Golf Season.
Weather being Not that cold, Not that hot.
Unless it remembers this is Texas.
Pool time!
Slightly safer roads (and sidewalks).
I miss the smell of dirt, fresh cut grass, and after a rainstorm.
Every day is for the doggo!!!

Hopefully more rain. Winter has been dry so far.

Excited for the first flowers to start popping up!

@PhysAssist
Yeah, Veronica Lake is hot.
@Kyeh
Not for nothing, but ‘was hot’…
@PhysAssist Well, I know she’s no longer alive, but as a movie star one becomes kind of timeless.
@Kyeh
Well, I hoped that you knew, but couldn’t assume.
But you are correct except for the tense thing.
yep, all the above, i agree! Well said
It was 72 degrees and sunny today. So I’d like it to stay this way as long as possible. In Florida Spring just means heat and tourists.
@ddbelyea
I just have to say this without any personal animosity:
I hate you!
Because that sounds awesome!
POPSOCKETS! ROAD ROCKETS! SONNY CROCKETT! AWESOME!
