We got birthday presents!

Moose posted some pics said Tue, Jul 9th 2019 at 11:49am ET

We didn’t want this to get lost in all the throwing of confetti and tooting of party horns yesterday, but we received a birthday present from @sammydog01!

The first box I opened had four friendly faces from meh: Mediocrebot, Irk, Glen, and of course the fan-favorite Punk Irk.

They were all hand-made and had little magnets on the bottom. Adorable!

Then I opened the other box, and the magnets started to make sense.

@sammydog01 sent us a dang BB-8 sphero. This is way better than the piece of junk we had lying around.

Thank you @sammydog01! This is great and you are too.

- @medz @sammydog01 yeah painting was definitely a bad move for more reasons than one, but I was still pretty amazed that it worked at all considering I did the whole thing in one workday.
  
  Now he just sits with other work-related props on a dusty shelf in the room where my cats poop.

Mediocrebot had another hand that was holding a knife but it broke off in shipping. I copied the idea from the 3Doodler people- it was a lot of fun. I have a Santa I run around the kitchen in December.

@ruouttaurmind kept making me buy BB-8s so I had a bunch of extras. So many extras. I’m glad you guys liked it.
