My current read
4Ever ‘miss’ a sequel to a book you enjoyed? Maybe you saw it, and thought ‘later’ or maybe you really missed it because of other factors.
Well, that happened to me. And of course I had to re-read the original first. The original was Michael Crichton’s The Andromeda Strain and I am now reading The Andromeda Evolution, written posthumously by Daniel H Wilson and published under Crichton’s name.
It basically brings the premise of the original story into the late 2010’s and I am very much enjoying it.

@jkawaguchi I remember seeing the original movie many many years ago. But I never saw the remake. Probably should make that on my list too just cuz
I need to read more. I love Crichton and King. And all sorts of scifi/fantasy. The Andromeda Strain is so well written. One of my favorites

Ok if you kinda liked Harry Potter and Artemis Fowl but wanted something a little darker. May I suggest……

If you liked the show Lockwood & CO.on Netflix; it was based on Jonathan Shrouds book series by the same name. So if you liked the show, you get a taste of his writing style.
