@tinamarie1974 honestly, I was surprised at how good it is, especially if I take the time to get some of the water out of it. That, and since I stopped eating pasta I don’t feel like I’m going to explode.
My ass it ain’t battery related! I dunno know what they’re called but I like the largeish straight tube shaped ones that are about the size of a AA. I like to pretend I’m a robot eating a plate of batteries.
@RedHot You’re saying things like, “hey, buddy,” and, “hey, guy,” because now that you’re older, you’re discovering that someone who was once your buddy is now your guy.
And someone who you used to call guy is quickly becoming your friend.
depends on what i’m making. but for the classic “i’m in the mood for red sauce and meatballs” craving, definitely thin spaghetti.
i love all pasta but the additional ones i buy at the store include: penne, ziti (without lines), half size or short rigatoni, elbows, fettuccine (fresh only), israeli couscous, glass noodles, and rice noodles.
less commonly purchased: cavatappi, casarecce, campanelle, large shells (for stuffing), mafalde, tortellini (fresh only), telephone cord.
@djslack yeah! thin spaghetti is still my go-to noodle but it’s fun once in awhile. the tough part with the bagged noodles though is it can be hard to find a pack where you don’t get too many broken ones. i hope to one day come across it in a box.
