@FroodyFrog pretty much any of the recent ones. Or the final episode of enterprise. That due to purposefully poor acting on some of the casts part was shit.
Best part is now "Holly"(If that is her real name) can REALLY steal from the warehouse and no one would suspect a thing! Mooo-ho-ho-ho! Not sure what she'd do with all that crap though....
Well if you are looking for someone who can just sit around all day working (pfft yeah right, we all know laptops are supposed to be used for gaming during work hours) and eating (and possibly use their feet to play the piano and/or make sandwiches), then I'm sure you could find somebody easily.
An exciting behind-the-scenes look so you can see how professional this shoot was. Here is the script for Santa. Each line took 1 take except "You must be handled" because we changed the line and the inflection and "I'm sorry Holly" to make it weirder.
So dark. So brilliant! Well done. As much as I love the music and puppet based videos it's nice to see something really different. Hope to see more of these.
In the next episode, @hollboll comes back from the dead and teams up with special mystery guest @JonT to kick Santa's ass back to the frosty hell he came from.
@ChadP So I was checking them out (No Lala) and that led me to Minden, which led me to this video below, which is abso-fucking-lutely gorgeous and completely brilliant to the point of me feeling an envy.
Many thanks!
I'd comp a video for "Nice"; I like it that damn much.
@Pavlov weird video, but really well made. I like the look. agree, envy inducing. Yeah, Nice was a good find. I wanted montage music, and was going to record something myself but ended up finding it and running with it. It's a cool song. The lyrics hit home in a couple places, which is why I stuck with it.
@ChadP I made a few inquiries today and bought the rights to produce an independent music video for Nice from Needle Drop. Interestingly, while negotiating for those rights, I found out that Minden (members of Minden form the core of No Lala) was a KC band and they moved out to Portland a few years ago. I'm really kicking myself for missing them here, but the years they were very active here, I was on the road for Mercedes 250+ days a year.
If Nice turns out like I think it will, it'll make a killer addition to our music video reel and maybe score us yet another Staff Pick on Vimeo - and maybe a few more opportunities with emerging bands, which is something I like to pursue for my students to cut teeth on when I take a semester to teach at KCAI.
I really thought you might like how they did a few things in the Minden video above, given how you shot / edited aspects of WA 1.3.
You were right to stick with it and I'm glad you did.
Santabot for the win... and
AMEN.
Well, that was..... unexpected
What is said at 2:04? I couldn't grasp it.
Also,
@FroodyFrog "You must be handled" I think...
@hollboll! Say it isn't so!! Sinister Santa has to go!
Part 1 and 2 were ok. This one. Well let's just say it was like a reboot Star Trek. it was going along and took a nosedive.
@sohmageek Which reboot specifically? (Tread carefully.)
@FroodyFrog
@thismyusername
Ewww!!!!!!!!!!
@FroodyFrog pretty much any of the recent ones. Or the final episode of enterprise. That due to purposefully poor acting on some of the casts part was shit.
Too creepy.
Boo.
Wookiee Hoodiee FTW.
Best part is now "Holly"(If that is her real name) can REALLY steal from the warehouse and no one would suspect a thing! Mooo-ho-ho-ho! Not sure what she'd do with all that crap though....
@BabyBear crap.com looks empty
http://shirt.woot.com/offers/read
Holly is no more.
All of this must be my fault.
I am so sorry.
R,I,P. Holly.
BTW, can I have your Wookie Hoodie?
@looseneck depends, does a child sized XL fit you?
@hollboll Yes! I wear boy's sneakers and boots and I even bought a pair of boyshorts for swimming. I think I have some boy's jeans too.
I only asked since Santa killed you and you won't need it anymore :)
@looseneck I'll take it under consideration.
Well crap, looks like I'm gonna have to replace @hollboll now. So does anyone need a job? Shouldn't be too hard.
@MEHcus
Well if you are looking for someone who can just sit around all day working (pfft yeah right, we all know laptops are supposed to be used for gaming during work hours) and eating (and possibly use their feet to play the piano and/or make sandwiches), then I'm sure you could find somebody easily.
@MEHcus A remote position? I just signed a lease so I am stuck in LA.
@FroodyFrog For the record, I am not eating anything you make with your feet or anyone else's.
@hallmike
I wasn't gonna share anyways.
Santa nightmare fuel. Texas style.
@Trask That's a beautiful poem.
Totally hoping Santa kills Irk in the next episode!

@thismyusername
You were right about the line (apparently).
@ChadP confirmed it.
I'm gonna miss her.
Wow, @TarDy ... what a legacy--you took out a Meh employee.....
@connorbush guess I'm turning the tables since the @pavlov roof incident
So dark. So brilliant! Well done. As much as I love the music and puppet based videos it's nice to see something really different. Hope to see more of these.
What's that music after the murder scene from, sounds familiar.
@Moose Thanks for posting this so I didn't have to.
In the next episode, @hollboll comes back from the dead and teams up with special mystery guest @JonT to kick Santa's ass back to the frosty hell he came from.
@dashcloud In other words, they'd pull a move like Dr Who is fond of doing?
Santa knows just how I likes my women.
More behind-the-scenes info:
Original conversation and concept work for this video project began on October 12th.
So @moose created this? You're one disturbed fuck @moose. We'd settle for nothing less, let's keep it that way.
What's the song from 0:21 to 1:11?
@justbuyit since noone bothered @ing you...
It is "Nice" by No Lala
http://freemusicarchive.org/music/No_Lala/Split/Nice#
:)
@thismyusername It's all good : )
@ChadP, @Moose - what's the track playing from ~0:11 to ~1:11?
This is just a few focus pulls away from being a cult classic.
@Pavlov Nice by No Lala
Thanks. I got one good focus pull in there. I needed one more day for production, but turns out the holiday season in a retail company is a challenge.
@ChadP Thx, earbug'd me for days.

@Pavlov I'll expect a producer credit & a couple points on the profit in exchange for the lead. :)
@ChadP I'm pretty sure we can at the very least throw you a mention . . .
