@moondrake Yeah, this was a good one as well. My favorite part was that I think on the original DVD version you could play the “ring” movie opening just to mess with people.
Scary villains is tough. Pazuzu/Regan MacNeil? Not exactly a favorite but the first monster I remember being really scared by.
My favorite VILLAIN had to be Count Ludwig von Siegfried, Vice President in charge of public relations and terror at KAOS. I never exactly found HIM scary…
My favorite MONSTER was the Creature From the Black Lagoon, but I didn’t find him scary and he wasn’t really the villain of those movies anyway.
@aetris@mossygreen I say this a lot Vincent Price was the Dick Clark of Halloween. An argument could be made for Elvira but his voice was in so many things.
@aetris@Targaryen If anything, at this point I’d say Dick Clark was the Vincent Price of disposable pop music. Vincent Price will live far longer in people’s hearts, maybe in the way that people don’t remember Vampira by name and may not realize she was a real person, but know the face and the voice and the concept. I think Price may be a Platonic Ideal.
@Cythwulf Who might this be?
@Targaryen The villain of Halloweentown.
@Cythwulf Ah, found it. Didn’t know that was a thing.
@moonhat my ex had the same clown as a child. He couldn’t stand Poltergeist. No idea why…
My two favorite villains are from The Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity. Those movies had me not sleeping so well for a few nights.
@Targaryen I forgot about those 2 movies. Especially Paranormal Activity, that’s one of those movies I’m mad at myself for watching afterwards.
Every single bug thing from The Mist.

@heartny I’m glad you included the gif because otherwise someone might have thought your favorite villain is Karen Black.

Has to be JASON. Absolutely terrifying without saying a word…
