Just bought this, been wanting a cheap bluetooth speaker for a while. Sent a support question about this, and they suggested I post here: my college, where I sent this to, sorts by name. This is my first time buying through meh, do they put your name on the package?
@KDemo That comment really doesn’t fit any more since money is plastic, and not even that when you buy online…its just a series of numbers. I honesty don’t think I’ve ever noticed anything pink costing less. Pretty sure ii paid more for my pink hair than the girl next to me getting red.
@mehbee - But - but - did you see today’s speakers? I think I remember some pink flash drives selling for less than the black version here, as well. Pink is just harder to sell, so they add the incentive.
If anyone’s looking for a louder speaker or something more upmarket, I’d recommend the OontZ 3XL. It’s pretty much the loudest one you can get, and it’s only 109 at Amazon (and it has Prime)
This particular speaker’s sound quality is probably going to be “fine”. I’d bet that it uses the exact same 3W speakers that maybe 90% of speakers sold today use, so if you own one of those surprisingly loud little pod speakers then just think that times two. I like how it’s rubberized and has an aux in and aux out. I’d buy it if I didn’t already have enough Bluetooth speakers to start my own meh.com.
I’m curious, though. Anyone know if the ‘aux out’ works when it’s connected by Bluetooth? Cause that’d be cool.
Please dont get me started on speaker bricks i own at least 10 in various brands there all the same shitty low sound and 3 watts is just the ticket to frustration …if you don’t own one buy one then let it sit on a shelf somewheres rite up there with elf on a shelf
Actually own this one for a few years. It is NOT my go to speaker. Very tinny sound and not very loud. BUT great battery life. Also I use it as a Blue Tooth bridge with the Aux Out connection to feed non-blue toothed things.
I ain’t buyin’ one of these crummy speakers, but I did want to post in support of more possum_skull poetry in the daily email. A gloomy possum poem is always an unexpected and welcome gem to start my day.
We bought a several of these a a while back, when you could have them in any color you want as long as that color was black…unless they have upgraded these things significantly, they are terrible. They might as well be wireless via infrared technology because the BT range is horrid, maybe 10-15ft if it is a sunny Tuesday in May, with no solar flares, and the Dow Jones is on an upswing. Otherwise it is crap and be sure not to move them or walk in between the transmitter and receiver or it will cut out…I think we actually ended up using them for dirty santa presents…bwaahaha…now that is dirty
