@sillyheathen one for each hand?? Oh, your good!
I honor of the Meh face.
This thing works super well. Highly recommend.
@mikesmells yeah but does it do anything about your smell?
@balts @mikesmells Got the fart cushions yesterday.
@asplus @balts I wish it did!!! And hope the fart cushion is super handy!
“What a great Mother’s Day gift”, said no married man alive today.
@carl669 don’t remember if you’re still looking for this
@djslack yep. bought it last night
Seems cheap enough but only 57 sold as of 3:40 am EST
dumv question, but ok for wood floors?
@Skaene go look at the ad. it tells you what they commended its for.
@Ozbrom @Skaene no need to be snarky and the manufacturer just says “sealed flooring”
Then lists carpet with wood. Sealed carpet? https://trueandtidy.com/shop/household-appliances/stm-300-steam-mop/
It would depend on your wood finish and I bought one in the last mehrathon but have not used it. A normal mop does fine. I wood(hahaha) guess sealed wood with no wear and/or polyurethane but… Wax or worn patches not so much.
@Ozbrom @unksol yeah, the carpet bit threw me just a tad. I think Mt floors should be ok though.
@Ozbrom @Skaene I think my sealed wood might be ok but… Just because they say you can doesn’t mean you should.
https://www.consumerreports.org/steam-mops/why-you-shouldnt-use-steam-mop-on-wood-floors/
I’m not really sure why anyone would want to disinfect their floors, just where it’s easier/faster to clean.
Their site even says laminate and… Nope on that
Yes, what about wood floors and laminates? Okay for them?
@nigebirch this is kinda a loaded question. Is your wood polyurethaned? Waxed? Sealed?
I would never use steam on laminate
Looked at Amazon. Fine for sealed wood floors. Not too many reviews but a few complaints about it breaking after a few uses.
I like to keep a nice layer of grime on my surfaces. Not for me
How long is the handle?
Got this previously, works really well. Cord is a little bit short, though.
I’m sure this would be great at house with tiles, but my apartment has a wood look flooring that is clearly peal and stick linoleum. Thoughts?
