Work sponsors a Halloween costume contest, with prizes. Some costumes are low effort, some are amazing, and one should have been arrested for indecent exposure.
It was a guy wearing a backless lab coat and a thong. Nobody wants to see that on a 60 year old.
The same guy has made “The People of Walmart” page, that may give you some idea of what we were dealing with.
I have been the only one putting up Halloween and autumn decor at work for years now. Not a huge amount (though the awesome Dollar Tree cackling witches are a hit!). There were efforts to do costumes but the last two years were ruined by wuflu and now having way too many of our people required to work at customer sites instead of at our office.
