@tartanknickers It is EXACTLY like a big lunch bag. I own one and rarely use it because of the extreme lack of compartments. My 17" laptop/transportable fits in it nicely though, so when I want to haul that beast around, this is the bag I use. For virtually all other computing or backpacking needs, I use something entirely else.
I will agree that Thule makes great gear though. My EDC is a Thule 13" from a 2017 Meh offering - love that bag. Super well made, and holds my Surface Pro 4 in padded comfort.
You want to carry a laptop around in a pack that’s quote unquote designed for harsh mountain conditions - let’s face it bruh; you’re climbing the mountain of trying to hook up with your manic pixie dream girl.
@Aspirant_Fool Wait, what? I’ve been to Kimball’s Crater - at least that’s what they told me when I paid the admission, and then were so nice to park my car for me. I remember that because I couldn’t find my house keys or car registration after that. Nice crater, tho.
