Thought I was having a stroke
28I received an email yesterday from an Amazon vendor about a handbag I purchased earlier in the year. I was pretty worn out after driving 900 miles in a day, but wanted to check my email before lights out. I read through it twice before I realized there was a reason why it wasn’t making complete sense. It kinda made me wistful for the days of our drop-shipping Korean friends and the Chinese scamsters who frequented Deals.

@juststephen naw the IMAP ENFORCER Jake…
I suspect Jake from state farm is great at email.
@thismyusername …and a redditor with his own twitch channel.
I want to see a cage match between Yolanda armed with her book on “How Write Most Good English upon 7 days or less” vs those two moron’s that do the Sonic restaurant commercials.
@DRBLAW TJ and Pete would run circles around her… would be entertaining for sure.
@DRBLAW My kids have a love-hate relationship with those boys. They love to hate on them, complete with eye-rolling at the “Dad jokes.” Can’t tell if their jokes are written for them, or if the guys are just riffing along and the director decides "YEAH! We’ll go with that one!"
The Sonic near us always under cooks the tater tots and frequently doesn’t carry a full Sonic menu.
@LaVikinga We were so excited to try Sonic when they finally opened one up (years ago now). Right up until we ate the food. Yuck
@KittySprinkles Pretty much sums it up. My younger two say the best things Sonic does are their onion rings and their drinks & shakes.
I’m still waiting for a chance to try In-n-Out, but I have a feeling they’ll be a long time coming to the East coast.
@LaVikinga I recall reading that most of what they do is improvised. Makes sense as they both come from a comic background. T.J. came from Chicago’s Second City and Peter was a writer for the Colbert Report.
Starred for the wonderful Chinglish. Starred again for the “toast” reference.
@PocketBrain @DRBLAW After I’ve said something weird to her, my youngest smart-ass likes to ask, “are you smelling toast again, Mom? Smile for me.”
I didn’t understand the toast reference, maybe it is because of my brain tumor.
