Those Cleanin Canine Toys Sold During Mehrathon
27So on a whim I bought the 3 pack of dog toys shaped like cleaning bottles that were sold during the Mehrathon on May 27.
Turns out our dog just freaking loves them and they’ve held up surprisingly well. So thanks again, Meh, for having some odd random thing that sucked me in and turned out to be a great buy.
Here’s our little buddy carrying one around as he often does now.
Here’s a gif of his other favorite move - walking up to one of us and sort of throwing the bottle at us hoping that we’ll throw it for him.

Damn it! I almost bought them. But I didn’t because I got the junk food ones in the previous athon and my dog was able to rip them open immediately so I thought these would be the same. Guess I’m going to be buying them if they show up again.
Also your doggo is adorable!
@sillyheathen Yeah he’s not an extreme chewer, but he’s pretty good. He can pop a tennis ball in a day or two and perform a squeakectomy in a day or two as well. So far, these are holding up.

@sillyheathen I bought the junk food ones recently and so far my best chewer who excels at eye, nose, ear, and squeakerectomies and improvised destuffing has done nothing but love on them and keep them intact. She greets me with pizza or a donut just about every day. But I know that one day the reckoning will come, as it must for just about every toy.

@whiskeyish I’m okay with that. More importantly, not only is he okay with that, I assume he just sort of expects it from everyone.
I bought those last year for my pup, a lab/Dalmatian mix. She quickly destroyed 2 of them. The final one lasted about 5 months.
Lol. I thought my rescue Queenie invented that word. She performed them in a matter of minutes!

that we rescued . She loved stuffed squeaky toys better than anything; after the squeakectomy she would put it in the pile with her “nest” (hoard) but would pick one to carry around with her. Usually a cow

When I saw the topic title I suddenly remembered a long-ago meh controversy with a poster who bought some dog toys which she said were flimsy and almost killed her service dog, I think? Or just could have? And she was hinting around about compensation or suing meh, maybe? And there were possibly multiple sock puppet accounts? I can’t remember any details. It was very dramatic and weird, enough that I got uncomfortable until I saw the happy topic content. Which seems even more happy and charming to me by contrast! My two main points are 1) great dog! And 2) does anybody remember what that was all about?
@mossygreen The snowblower lady from Woot. I remember that well. Fortunately I don’t remember her usernames.
@mossygreen @sammydog01 She was the one who cheated in one of the games that Woot played where Wooters were divided into teams (used two of her aliases to be on two different teams) TC was one of the people screwed over by her.
Then she complained about dog toys that Meh sold – said that they harmed her dog and, yes, it looked like she was threatening to sue Meh.
Finally, Meh was having drawings for items it was selling at different times. She won one of them, which was a speaker or amplifier or something like that. It was an expensive item. But Meh screwed up and sent her the wrong item. Instead of contacting Meh, she came to the forum and bitched about how Meh cheated her and because of that she could no longer donate her USED one to a children’s hospital and on and on and on. She’s a real piece of work.
Meh made things right (as we knew they would) and sent her the original prize plus the, I think it was a vacuum, that had been sent to her in error.
If I searched my brain, I would remember some of the aliases that she used, but I just hope she doesn’t show up here again.
