Alone, but with six dogs. I am a dog sitter, and my family doesn’t want me to bring all six of them with me. However, this is the busiest time of the year for dog sitting, and it gives me lots of extra money to spend at meh.
Spending the day with family, eating, drinking, watching a Christmas movie, and eating, and drinking again. Thankful that Christmas only comes once a year!!!
Delicate balance among eating (dinner is done, which I cooked), spending time with my folks (who are getting annoying after a week), listening to the Lakers game that’s on at volume 90 in the other room (see above re: time with my folks getting annoying), and PACKING TO GO TO DISNEY WORLD TOMORROW YAY.
Hosted Christmas dinner at our house with my oldest daughter and her son (our only grandchild), my wife’s parents and her sister. This was our second Christmas, because we had one earlier this month with our three younger kids because that was the only time their work and travel schedules allowed. (Just as well, since two of them flew in then and many flights were canceled this weekend because of the weather.)
TIME BANDITS IS ON.
Family, friends, eating and before all that, cleaning up my home office. And maybe, a session on my exercise bike.
Loitering at the liquor store and maybe buying an ice cream sandwich to pretend to not just be loitering.
All the above… well except Football. My relatives don’t have the local Fox station, so no NFL. OH, THE HUMANITY!
