The Wirecutter was purchased by the New York Times. When Brian Lam says “Hey, we’re still us.” it’s either adorably naive or contemptibly disingenuous. Either way, the decline has begun. I’m really bummed. The Wirecutter was one of the jewels of the Internet. I’m guessing he didn’t consult with @snapster about this.
