The Sapphire Scapegoat (September 2021 goat nominations)
9September, the sapphire month. It was once thought this blue gemstone could guard against evil and poison. That wasn’t the case, of course, and it’s not going to guard mehmbers against impending goatdom either.
Besides, our current goat @RogerWilco deserves a break. Do you know how difficult it is to find cat pics on the internet?!?

Never been that hard to wring pet stories out of people when we need them walter included
@mike808 @unksol Even though he doesn’t have a log-in as required by the powers that be, Walter has been the only mehcitizens “pet” (don’t let him know I called him that) to have volunteered to assume the enormous responsibility of goatum either on a temporary basis or for an entire month.
I think in the spirit of inclusion and non- discrimination, Walter should be Sept’s Goat by acclamation.
