So far, this fan film is v good, has captured so much of the look snd feel of the Jackson trilogy
And this short makes me again so aware what what a powerful cinematic universe Jackson created.
Even if the Tolkien family doesn’t like Jackson’s changes (and I wish PJ had stuck closer to the book version):
to me, the sense of being immersed in Middle-earth, with its visuals, it’s depth snd sweep, and with the superb score, will forever belong to the Jackson version.
I hope that future Middle-earth video productions pay visual and tone homage to the Jackson films.
It’s hard for me to imagine how another production could create a different look, feel, and tone, and have that be an improvement.
