It seems to me that the technology and machinery needed for manufacturing caffeinated gum could be used in other ways in 1773 to build up some wealth.
Unless you’ve just got a means of transporting modern gum back in time. In which case I think there’s much better stuff you could be using that equipment for.
Important question: is our factory run by loyalists or patriots? If I’m going to invest in this venture I want to make sure I’m on the winning side.
