This movie was basically several short stories all intertwined and I didn’t know where it was going.
Not really a happy movie. Still liked it as something to watch while doing my nails.
You’ll watch anything with Robert Pattinson, won’t you?
@sammydog01 lol, for the most part, yep.
I saw a preview of this when I was at work the other day and saw that Bill Skarsgård was in it. Definitely had to watch it then.
I loved the movie… it felt big and explored the idea that we carry familial violence with us whether we want to or not. It also deals with the idea of “righteousness” and justice in an imperfect world full of little devils who don’t realize the depravity of their own sin.
Hm, just talked myself into buying the book.
@lizzius fun fact! The narrator was the author of the book and the first time he had ever narrated anything!
Just watched it. Now I need to watch an entire season of British baking to get over it.
@sammydog01 go watch Otherhood it is cute.
@sammydog01 sad, right??
@RiotDemon More fucked up than sad. Speaking of fucked up did you see what I got in my late November irk?
@sammydog01 just saw it! Lol, that’s great.
