My cat. He’s a giant even at his normal size, so enlarged, he could definitely take out whatever huge monster is attacking. He might be worse for the city than the original monster though…
OK, so - OBVIOUSLY a dog, right? Because it’d actually ATTACK ON COMMAND and not just go digging for food or lick its ass or whatever. Now there would be some problems afterwards, to be sure. But only for about ten years, depending on the age of the dog.

@tnhillbillygal Honey badger just wouldn’t give a fuck. Or something. Am I doing this wrong?
@shahnm Yeah, that might present a problem if honey badger decided that the earth would be better without the humans…
@tnhillbillygal Honey badger might just be right…
@shahnm @tnhillbillygal So we do the planet a favor for once. honey badgers!

Enlarge by how much? My vote would be something that we can take out if it turns on us. Like a fish?
Sasquatch… duh…

Tazmanian Devil
Put a giant lampshade on the invading monster and enlarge moth.
@thismyusername
Amoeba. After it’s done consuming the invading menace it can consume us too.

@Durago I was going to suggest cats too. They do pretty much rule the world. And the internets.
@Durago @heartny Valid argument.

All we would need is Sharknado.

@aetris
Yeah, and when it starts gnawing on buildings and running around with an airplane in its mouth, then what?
@TheFLP - I worry less about the gnawing and the fetching than the marking and the outcome from the eating of the tall alien monster!
A rabbit… the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on!
@Grumman Look that rabbit’s got a vicious streak a mile wide. It’s a killer!
@Grumman Are you suggesting making a rodent of unusual size?
@Grumman terrible monster with “nasty, big, pointy teeth!”
Pffft. Honey badger.
An ant, strongest animal!
Wait, which city is it? (Just trying to pick a side here.)

A Hippo, they kill more people in Africa than Lions do.
@growyoungagain Well if that’s the metric, then it should be a mosquito.
