Welcome, friend. This is the one place on the Internet that will not be indulging in wall-to-wall winking and nudging about the weakest of the Back to the Future movies.
Sleeper sucks, but I grew up by the sleeper house when I was a kid, and live around the corner from it on the same mountain when I was older. Everyone called it the Jetson house.
The Start Trek so bad, it is actually good. Despite grossing $6,000,000 less than Star Trek: The Motion Picture, The Voyage Home was the most profitable of the series, grossing $133,000,000 against a $21,000,000 budget.
@The_Baron I must confess I have not seen this remake (yet). See original version w/ Bing Crosby above or better yet the Bug's Bunny version. Either way full credit to Mark Twain.
BTTF for sure. How could anyone disagree with that? Why is the 2nd one not an option?
@capguncowboy Somebody didn't read the write up....
@capguncowboy BTTF is the best movie on that list but I've never considered it a comedy...
Um, hello. AUSTIN POWERS, obviously.
Oh no, I've gone cross-eyed!
@curtise That's not my bag, baby.
Um... Hello!
For some weird reason, I feel like one's been left out.
@vdeogmer Someone must've traveled back in time and erased its existence
oh no, I voted before I noticed time bandits :(
@Pantheist Did you hear? Gilliam is working on a time bandits tv series!
@thismyusername I've heard that, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up just in case.
Wouldn't call Time Bandits a comedy, per se, but...
@spitfire6006006 Did you hear? Gilliam is working on a time bandits tv series!

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home

Is the one where I go back in time and I get my Fuku bitches!
@mfladd
San Dimas Highschool football rules!
@crapstick WYLD STALLYNS!!!!!!!!!!!
I always loved Time After Time. I know it's not exactly a comedy, but it was fun, and there were plenty of funny moments.

@Shrdlu
@thismyusername I already own it. They frankly could've ended the series there, because it tied up so many loose ends, but I'm glad they didn't!
The best time-travel comedy ever is the Republican Party.
Would have voted Bogus Journey but it's more of an afterlife comedy.
Really go back in time to go back in time :
or
Of course the Bug's Version : A Connecticut Rabbit in King Arthur's Court is the best.
@ceagee It took me a full two minutes to realize that this wasn't in english.
Obviously Predestination. Going back in time to bang yourself back when you were a woman? Ha, Classic!
@farfromfunny that's not what happened :P
Time Chasers was not meant to be a comedy. But it still wins in my book.
Back To The Future was supposed to be a comedy? I always thought that it was an action movie.
I mean, any movie that has guns and more than one car chase scene in it automatically becomes an action movie, right?
At the risk of offending the purists out there, I would nominate "Groundhog Day". Maybe not a Time Travel movie, but a 'Time Trap' movie?
@Klaatu1721 I came on here to nominate the same
@The_Baron I must confess I have not seen this remake (yet). See original version w/ Bing Crosby above or better yet the Bug's Bunny version. Either way full credit to Mark Twain.
Where's Primer?
@DrunkCat '"The best time-travel comedy ever is"
@DrunkCat love Primer, what a great flick.
@spitfire6006006 It was hilarious.
Army of Darkness.
This is my Boomstick.
Some great choices but I've gotta go with Gilliam every time.
How did you guys miss Timecop. One of the greatest Jean Claude Van Damme movies of all time!
@densa '"The best time-travel comedy ever is"
@thismyusername @densa "intentional comedies"
Rowan Atkinson aka Mr Bean in Doctor Who: The Curse of Fatal Death.
