STRIIV NO MORE {Necropost}
4I just got the following email. So for all you fellow Striivers out there you now have a plastic wrist band that tracks stuff for the day. It’s a shame because for the money paid it was a pretty good tracker.
Dear Striivers
We have some bad news to share. After 10 years of building Striiv products, we have made the difficult decision to shut down and stop our services.
We have had the pleasure of supporting your fitness and health journey over the years and can’t thank you enough for the support.
You may have some questions that we hope we can answer:
• The Striiv app is no longer enabled on the Apple Appstore and Google Play store.
• The Striiv servers will be shut down, which means you will no longer be able to log into the mobile app or view data.
We wish you the best in your journey moving forward.
Thanks,
Striiv Team

Wow. They didn’t even sell their products and patents and userbase to a competitor?
Ouch.
I liked my striiv, but lost or mislaid it. Currently using a garmin for all that.
But, of course, we don’t get to buy garmins on meh.
: (
If they can’t/won’t sell it you could at least petition them to open source the code. I don’t know what this is but if it was popular and useful usually there a few of us nerds out there who probably have one and might take a wack at it.
@unksol @salpo has anybody found a solution to this problerm?please share my leader if you have finally found a solution,my email is (obfuscated by moderator for user protection reasons) zikibellaprojects @ gmail .co. za
just resuscitated my striiv and found out the app is not there any longer. Does anybody found an alternative app that “sees” the striiv?
Hi,
I have a Striiv watch and haven’t activated it yet. Can you please help me, how I can activate that watch.

@Jtwyman37 Striiiv shut down in 2020. There is no longer a server or an app that the watch can interact with. I don’t know if it will operate in standalone mode, but I should hope so. However, the functionality may be limited in that case. Even some name brand things like Fitbit are pretty well crippled if you don’t have the app to go with them because the native display will only tell you a small amount of the story.
