@Trogdor248 This jacket has a 10,000 to 15,000 mm waterproof rating. In the outdoor industry, this means the fabric can easily handle average rain, snow, and moderate pressure, making it ideal for standard trekking and camping. They utilize a proprietary ClimateShell breathable membrane combined with a durable water-repellant coating and fully sealed seam.
@craigthom Look on the manufacturer website listed in the price comparison. Their sizing guide helps as it is a standard measurement you usually see for clothes. I wanted, for example, to see the hip measurement so I knew if I could zip a men’s as sometimes they are very narrow in the hips.
@craigthom Buy one size up. If you wear a medium T-shirt then buy a large jacket. It has a European (athletic) cut that can restrict at the waist if don’t size up.
An Apricoat at $40 is a no-brainer. The sizes run European (athletic) with a tapered midsection. If you normally wear a medium T-shirt then you’ll want this jacket in a large.
As a dweeby middle aged suburbanite, I would like to know, does this actually come with a hydration bladder? Or just a pocket made to hold one?
The listing language makes me think it actually comes with the “integrated hydration pack” but some of the reviews I’ve found claim it’s an extra purchase.

Found a very in-depth review from a rather wet-looking fellow. From his summary at the end of the review:
“Now, if you’re the kind of person who wants to stay dry, up to a point, and needs a jacket that is functional and cost-effective, then this jacket might be just up your alley.”
I’m into it. I watched a 45 minute review on YouTube and he liked it overall and said it’s worth $180. I was looking for a water proof jacket for rainy dog walks. This may be overkill feature wise, but $40 is too good to pass up. Water proof jackets are pretty expensive, usually. This is a great price!

These taste nothing like apricot.
@yakkoTDI Thank you for exposing the truth!
@yakkoTDI Well you could try for a peacoat instead, if you could handle a vegetable and not a fruit. But it might not taste like pea, either.
15 places to look before finding my keys in the 16th pocket.
@robmonks Pockets?
What’s it got in its pocketses?
Good video to prep for Halloween!
No women sizes!?
@wooterondo Only men don’t enjoy getting wet.
@wooterondo yeah, I don’t particularly mind wearing men’s jackets, but it would be nice to get some women’s too
@wooterondo Well, it does list the deal as “Men’s Hooded Jacket”, so go figure.

@wooterondo Is there an echo in here, or is it just me (and my lagging, stuttering wifi)?
@wooterondo Yeah meh rarely sells women’s sizes
Ok. I guess.
@connorbush Woah! Don’t get so excited.
Anyone know is the material waterproof or “waterproof”?
@Trogdor248 This. Is it a breathable coating like Gore, a cheaper less-breathable alternative or just straight up PVC coating like a raft?

This is just the kind of thing my hubby likes. He’s had a couple of different jackets of holding over the years.

@mediocrebot @Pony Must be a fine line between dead and undead?
Excellent, perfect scene, no notes.
Been looking for a good jacket.

Bought one last year, no adventures. Zero stars.
Is anyone else confused by that sizing guide? I’m too sleepy to make sense of it.
I am not 2D.
