Soooo. I have the greatest packaged food idea of all time.
1Yeah, try of all time. No I will not tell you what it is.
So--how do I make it into a product?
I did some Google machine type of stuff and I have seen George Foreman's commercials for invent help....
More so, I was looking for personal experience stories and such from the inventors out there.
Did you go the traditional route of create business plan, find investors, go. Did you crowd fun? How did you craft a prototype? How did you find a proper manufacturer?

Nevermind, turns out it's already been done.
Patent first. Talk about it later.
put together a cheezy presentation, and a cheezier outfit and don't shave for a few days, then go on shark tank and pitch your idea. If you're a woman cry. Whenever I wander therough the teevee room that seems to be whats going on.
@cranky1950 sold, will do.
@connorbush remember to maintain eye contact with Cuban the entire time...
@connorbush - Or move to Canada, go on Dragon's Den, they're nicer.
What's up with keeping it a secret? No one's going to steal your idea - they don't have the same vision as you. We always felt the same way, but stressed too much over that aspect. It's really hard to get quality advice without giving out some details.
We created a business plan, then crowd funded, and didn't have to find investors outside of that. The bulk of our product already had a working prototype, but other aspects we used Alibaba to find a manufacturer that ended up in China.
