Something funny about this year's fireworks

There were these red and green lights that wouldn’t go away. The lights kept moving around. I then realized someone had a drone up there. Then counted 4-5 of them. One got a little daring and got closer. Fireworks went off all around the drone. Once the fireworks stopped actively exploding around the drone it moved the fastest I saw it all night, to a safe distance away from the fireworks.

With drone.horse merged here. I thought someone may find it a little funny.

I was watching our city’s fireworks show on tv and kept pointing out the drones to my wife until she seemed to be over it. Drones at fireworks displays have been happening around here for a while now, though.

My only thought is that whatever I personally would be doing with drone footage is not worth getting my craft blown up. But if I were paid generously for the footage, I guess it’s worth the risk.
