Sock alert emails

I got a special email from Meh today, alerting me (a previous sock purchaser) to another great sock deal. This is actually the 2nd time Meh has sent me a sock alert.

But why socks? I have purchased lots of knives, cookware, linens, toys, and other items at meh, yet I only get alerts about socks. Does meh send out similar notes for other product categories and I just happen to only fit into this one? Or does someone at meh have a particular fascination with sock customers?

Meh’s warehouse overflow’ith with socks. Whenever the stockpickers take a knife off the shelf, creating a gap, they’re tired of hearing the warehouse manager saying:

Put a sock in it!

Need space for more knives. And JBL Mini speaker docks.

- @f00l oh god, we have one of those washing machines and I found one of my roommate’s thin dress socks down in the liner a couple weeks ago. No idea how long it had been there.

- @f00l Weird, I have those same socks. I also have a front load washer but nothing has ever wormed it’s way under the drum like that.

- @f00l OMG IT IS TRUE. The dryer EATS SOCKS. It might be cats next. Thank you (and unblame) now that I know where to look for my lovely missing flowered sock that has been gone for months.
