Another reason to like them: they’re wired. Which makes them kinda findable.
I’ve discovered that I don’t move wired headphone around. They stay plugged into or near the desired tech object. They tend to like laptops smd desktops.
[And I might use them for my IPod Classic, the old hard drive version that has no Bluetooth. (I hate the touchscreen iPods. I love the click-wheel iPods)]
So the wired headphones tend not to get lost or wind up in the car, or wtf messenger bag or pants or jacket pocket did I put them in?
(My Bluetooth ones follow me around and make nice to phones.)
@phendrick I am secure in the knowledge that I don’t need more junkity junk if I have to pay for it. Rather spend “junk” money on ice cream and chocolate. Well and $5 irks… but… well… now irks have enforced savings attached to them.
I got the wired headphones, courtesy of helpful reviews provided that they’re pretty great.
Also picked up another of the face-massage glasses things (looooove the one I got first time around and getting this as a gift) and one of the wireless speakers with a hook for when we take the kids on bike rides. Nothing I needed, but will use it all.
(Bought an IRK after crossing the $50 spend line as well, which should be refunded, providing me with more things I don’t need, that maybe I’ll use, at no cost to me.)
I bought nothing. I took one look at a repeat of that $50 IRK scam and just clicked a face and went to bed and didn’t come back until it was over. Looking back at what was offered, glad I did.
I looked over the items that had been offered…a few look kool, they had been sold out. So I got zip p, but the stuff that has been offered over the last few months has not been worth it.
I got the irk at 2 in the morning and then the next day fell asleep and forgot to purchase my $50 of free stuff. But at least I used my $10 off coupon code for sidedeal for the irk
Nothing at all. Given Meh removed the randomness of an Irk I did not feel the need to follow up on the site with regular cadence (I knew I wasn’t spending $50 anyway)
Checked this morning and I didn’t miss out on too much
I’m a big geek so I picked up a handful of power banks and some charging blocks. I already have about 30 power banks but it’s about the getting, not the having.
I snagged a few things…got a couple of the Anker GaN 45-watt chargers so I can fast charge my jumper packs and a couple of the Aukey USB-C 20k mAh power banks to replace my ~6 year old micro-USB ones (that still work fine…), lol.
Qualified me for the IRK too (passed on it last time).
I was super-bummed about the doubled price for the random tees though…I’ve always ordered the limit on those. Had to pass at $9. The mystery is fun, even if a couple aren’t my style…but, not $27 worth of fun for the risk.
Mostly regret. It comes in all shapes, sizes, and UPC codes.
@phendrick So, IRK that you make yourself?
@heartbleed
Mehbe,
Goodwill here doesn’t seem to mind IRKs (but they’re not good at recycling the boxes).
Stuff. Not saying more, for Reasons
@werehatrack lube for sure
@werehatrack
Unnerstand
Those ear buds were the only thing I bought.
@medz Those were probably the best deal of the bunch.
@medz @phendrick I picked them up sometime last year and they are pretty great. I have zero complaints.

Nada nix nothing
@Kidsandliz So you are saying that you are “junk - insecure”?

Bought nothing here, but ended up buying something on Morningsave.

I got some lube that I probably don’t need and was only 2$ cheaper than getting it at another store, but at least now I don’t need to leave the house.
