(My brother was in hospice and actively dying he passed 7/26/25) I was distracted. I thought I did it right, I remember making sure I did it so I didn’t get kicked out of “the club”. I guess I did it wrong. I see now they are allowing memberships again but not VMP, for an extra $0.99. Think I can get a “pass” to reinstate my VMP? I can send the obituary.
As someone who has had to deal with the cruelty of corporate rules while dealing with grief (I had to bring in my grandfather’s obit, after a brutal fight with cancer, to a FUCKING PSYCH CLASS).

I knew a Meh-rathon was coming soon just because it’s that time of the month. But, last month I finally figured out that the day after Woot has their main event Meh has a Meh-rathon! Well, in the same week anyway, today it’s both at once!
Last one had a defective led strip, slippers, a meh weed grinder, and a square filter. The filter had no markings. It wasn’t in a box or anything–just a loose object that surely should have gone to something other than my trash can.

This was the first time I’ve passed on an IRK. Has gone from an exciting grab bag to “let me try to find someone to take this crap so I’m not just throwing it all away.”
@pattyrusk1 I also got a FedEx notice for a Thursday delivery but it still shows in TX now while I am in PA… doubt I will be getting mine tomorrow.

@icerc I live within 8 hours of there and mine was 3 things. One pair of men’s small underwear, a non-working massager thing which was pretty light, and an irk bag. I think in almost all the cases it is pretty random. Very occasionally someone gets singled out for a joke or a really nice one, but usually it’s a crap shoot and I don’t think they have done that in a bunch of years.

I’m 250 miles from Meh (-ish) and have mostly received lightweight smallish boxes. One in a while, it’s something wow-ish, but usually not, and usually small-ish. I’ve never been luggaged. (And FXG charges by cubic volume when the item is below the standard weight for the volume. At least, they do that to me.) At $5 as a token cost, I didn’t care. At $10 and above, with my budget in severe disarray, I feel no loss when I pass on them.

Here in Florida I got 3XL underwear pack and then a small underwear neither which fit me. I got a big pillow and a terrible Shower speaker.
