Well, no. Moka pots are what Italians use at home to make coffee, and when they want espresso they go to a coffee shop. This makes very strong, very intense coffee and I use a moka pot myself, but the output is not espresso.

I have a couple of moka pots (“caffettiera” in the lingo) and just about every style of espresso maker out there, but Sidedeal called to me and I made the mistake of listening and bought this one anyway. Seems I have this obsession with espresso makers. Maybe I should see someone about it. My favorite barista seems to be a good listener…
