@lonocat I’m sure that someone will get at least one. At some point in the future, when the day finally arrives, the folks in the warehouse should wrap the very last TrackR in gold mylar with a big “LAST ONE!” tag on it, and post a photo here - without saying where it went. (This should absolutely not be the only thing in the box, of course.)

@lonocat it’s been a while since I’ve gotten trackrs. The phone loops have been the albatross for me. I think I’ve gotten at least 20 of them
@ironcheftoni @lonocat I got close to 20 in the first “shipment” of phone loops in the last irk. Have found exactly no one who wants one which is likely why they ended up in an irk.
@lonocat Hahaha I got two trackers just now in my irk. I’ll post my irk shortly. I’ll be glad to send you some of my 40 or 50 or however many I have of them (a lot).
@lonocat i got two more trackrs in my IRK. In a previous IRK i got over 30. I think I’m about close to 100 or it at least feels that way.

@mehgrl Well the offer of 2 Clevelands where you don’t have to pay postage is better than my offer of 3 and you pay postage - although when I finally go to Cleveland you can have them for free if I don’t have to go from the east side to the boondocks (eg far west side) just to deliver. It is going to cost me enough to drive 1084 miles without adding 40 or more miles to deliver.

@Kidsandliz Hah! That still seems better than a lot (but, while I’m not a guy either, I am short, and would have probably managed at least to make work jeans out of those).
@brainmist at one point in my adult life (when I used to take people camping for a living and work on tall ships) I could wear a men’s 28 but at 5’10" I would have needed a much longer inseam. Now a woman’s fit fits a bit better although I likely I can still fit in men’s jeans. Just haven’t tried recently.
@brainmist @Kidsandliz try them on before you pass on them. I’m a 5’10" guy, with an ever-so-slightly bigger waist (38)
and my wife says the look like a girls cut on me. I wear a 30" or 32" inseam. These are 32" inseam and a large 38" waist.
She says they look like they are trying to lift my buttocks and give me a bubble butt. Good luck stretch jeans! Gravity and some mass in the gluteous massimus are going to win this battle.
Or, I could just go the Buffalo Bill route and make a new skin suit (ref to Silence of the Lambs).

@remo28 i got one of these a few moths ago. It worked about 2 times before not working. Apparently, the control knob has a problem in many of these units. I got replacement fron ebay for a few dollars. Just need to install it.

I’m in the sad trombone category, with a phone ring, laptop case, turquoise bag, and cheapy 3 drawer rack. Maybe I’ll stash single-serve condiments in it. It was honestly the closest thing to value in there.
But my previous Ink-IRKs were pretty damn solid, so I was due for an actual wha-wha.

This is my second IRK, and my first one was so pathetic I never even tried to post about it. With help from Kidsandliz, I least know where to go.
I got one of those large rolling luggage bags that I really don’t need, two Casery phone grip and stands that I don’t know what I would use for, and three “TrackR pixel” trackers that I bought before and all the batteries were dead. If I can find someone that needs the bag for a holiday present this will be pretty good. Oh, and a blue IRK bag.

@Springbank You can probably sell the suitcase on facebook marketplace, craigslist or nextdoor. Price it just under half of the lowest retail price you can find and it should go quickly.

@pattyrusk1 It is a nice suitcase, and I’m not complaining. If the world situation ever calms down, I do plan to travel, and a large hard-sided case will come in very handy. The shocker was getting the notice the delivery was here and opening the door to this humongous box outside.

Is it possible to reflash the Bluetooth chip in the TrackRs? The chip is a Nordic semiconductor NRF51822
The contacts for reflashing the chip are clearly visible. The question is, are there fuses that prevent erasing the chips, and if so are they set?

I received the best IRK I’ve ever received as it included a Puleida Portable Power Station 518Wh/600W which I see is selling for $299 on Amazon. Also got a blue IRK bag, 1 pack of Pain Cakes, a box of Roll-ons 3 pack essential oils and 6 Cobalt hue Enamel Glass Paint bottles. Of course this all came the same day as I received the Phase2Energy Power Block 500 I’d ordered recently from Meh for $99 as well. @Kidsandliz @koils I finally got around to trying that, and in the meh app, flipping the phone to landscape mode doesn’t work. I suppose it probably would in the browser. But then, in the browser, it doesn’t always recognize that it’s on a mobile interface. It usually serves up the desktop, with full features. Just tiny.

Well I had to laugh. It came today and I’ve been getting ready to go on a girls’ trip this weekend so I was avoiding it after seeing so many MEH reveals especially knowing the box wasn’t big enough to be the pans they keep forgetting to send me or the suitcases everyone else seems to be getting. I finally opened it a little while ago and the whole box is coming with me. The solar mushroom and vanity mirror will stay in Detroit lake at my friend’s place, and we’re doing spa treatments so the slippers and headband are perfect. It’s like y’all knew!!!

@IndifferentDude Ha! Not that long actually. I think the last time my kiddos counted, there are 120ish? But because of the way I have them laid out it’s pretty easy. The ones up top get watered every 2-3 weeks typically.
@IndifferentDude @sillyheathen Your window looks like the family room big picture window where I grew up. Mom had that entire wall covered in plants with shelves on either side for more and then had them hanging in other windows. In that house the backyard wasn’t for playing either. It was a giant garden too. We spent many a weekend having to help her weed. I now hate gardening although it rubbed off on my middle sister. Must be genetic and I missed that gene. I do like looking at pretty gardens and plants though. My excuse for not having plants is cats. I had an aloe (from mom’s giant ancient one) I finally gave away when the new owners here forbid us from hanging plants from the ceiling (only place cats couldn’t get at it) so even though I wasn’t even the one who put the hook in I wasn’t allowed to use it.
I seem to have received about the same as the regret filled IRKs on this list.

@slipperyp I actually found one of the Rube Goldeberg bags useful yesterday when I walked to pick up a large 24" x 20" picture frame - it fit into it well enough for me to walk six blocks with it.
@slipperyp I think the irk bags are great for groceries. The strap is long enough to put on your shoulder to carry stuff in. Plus I’ve used them to take odd size Rubbermaid boxes of cookies to work. I’ve reused them more than the fuku bags I have. Although I also have a couple of the drawstring type fuku bags, so I find those awkward to use.
@Kyeh I didn’t mean to say that I never find the shape of the irk bags useful. I do like them a lot and they’ve been specifically helpful for us when lugging around stuff like a bunch of beach towels.
I just find bags that are more “typical grocery bag” shape more generally versatile and easy to carry. And I probably have 4 irk bags and only one fuku bag. And among people who would consider one of these vintage, I think the fuku bags are more broadly considered vintage or collectable - so I’m happy to get it!
@slipperyp Oh, I actually agree with you - but it was nice to have a bag that actually worked for that big picture frame; all my other reusable bags have the traditional “portrait” orientation and none were wide enough. I was excited to get one of the red Fuku bags too!
They’re not all good, they’re not all bad, and most are mediocre. I’ve received some of each.
Man, my IRK was delivered while on vacation and I was excited to see what I got. All I got was an air purifier.
not even a meh bag, just the purifier. Oh well. Giving it to my aunt to see if it helps her allergies.
